Relaxed business-family friendly hotel with beach club Because of its central location in Playa del Carmen, the hotel welcomes a mix of business travellers and budget-minded families who enjoy proximity to business, shopping, restaurants and entertainment in the surrounding area. This business-family friendly property includes amenities such as continental breakfast, wireless internet in all the hotel areas, transportation to our beach club and to 5th avenue, roofed parking lot, swimming pool and fitness room. The following services at an extra cost: laundry, babysitting, meeting rooms for up to 80 persons, business center, ice machines, soft drinks and snacks at vendor machine. All rooms feature: One queen size bed or two double beds, in-room safety deposit box (extra cost), alarm clock, air conditioning, plasma TV with satellite, dial phone, wireless internet, amenities, wake up calls, etc. The hotel is perfect to get to all the places of interest in Playa del Carmen - beaches, shopping malls, restaurants, etc… - without affecting your budget. Insider tips: During the day visit our Beach Club, umbrellas, towels, lounge chairs included and special discounts on food and beverages. You can also book ecological tours (Selvatica, Crococun, etc,) or visit cultural archaeological sites like Xcaret, Tulum, Xel-Ha, CHichen-Itza, Coba. Taxes are NOT included in the rates and will be charged during the check in. Check in: 3:00 p.m. Check out: Noon (12:00 p.m) Cancelations: Must be 72 hrs before the check in, if not will be a 1 night charge. Kids stay free from 0 to 12 years old, kids from 13 years and older pay as an adult. HIGH SEASON POLICIES: Bookings with stay dates between December 22nd, 2008 to January 2nd, 2009 and April 3rd, 2009 to April 18th, 2009 will be charged 100% at time of booking, and are non refundable rates, no exclutions. Debit cards are not accepted for these dates.

This is not a Hostel! This is very much a family/business hotel. It is clean and nice but not what we thought we were getting.

The staff was very friendly and the rooms were really really nice, but the location was bad. The hotel offers a one-way shuttle to the beach that they tell you runs from 7am to 7pm, but there is a break between 12 and 4. Some days it doesn't run at all. The cost of taxis will add up. The location is'nt that good. Magic Express is placed in the industrialarea, BUT the hotel has a free taxi that takes you in to the town or the beach. I would defenitley stay there again if I go to Playa del Carmen!
