Fantastic location, straight across the road from the beach. Rooms are cleaned and beds made daily. Towels provided, close to everything and great staff. would stay there anytime!

We arrived, no one spoke english. No one at front desk. A guy came down after 5 minutes of standing around. He smelled like pot, charged us an extra $200 pesos, $20! Was so high, fumbled with credit card, and room key. Room was a dive, toilet barely worked. Loud music into the night. Most upset... more We arrived, no one spoke english. No one at front desk. this was my second time this yr staying here.its sooo close to the beach and they have a kitchen and a rooftop where there is music and you can sink some beers.the staff are awsome,relaxed and friendly..love you guys.xxxxxxxx

Good sized rooms, nice open airy communal area. Great location on the beach and good value for money. Cons: You need great earplugs as the Kareoke and Clubs kick in at 3am and go to about 5am at full volume!!

The room was good but the ensuite bathroom wasn't very clean. The location was good but there really wasn't much atmosphere in the hostel as there were only corridors apart from a small communal area on the roof, that nobody used I think because it wasn't signposted.

a few things were not in a good shape such as lockers, toilet fush etc. However the meeting terrace is cool with the music they are playing. There is only one free internet PC. I would say all in all the hostel is pretty good value, especially for that location!

We really enjoyed Maria Sabina so much so that we stayed a week! Our room was a 4 bed dorm with ensuite,air con and cable.Worth every cent!We felt very safe as there was always someone at the front desk.Location was awesome!One block from the beach and close to bus station.The staff were... more We really enjoyed Maria Sabina so much so that we stayed a week! our reservation was not found by the first person who checked us in so he had to put my friends and I in separate dorms... only later that night did we realise that he had overbooked those rooms and we didn't actually have a bed. Not great considering we had made a reservation weeks in advance. Apart from this however it was fine.close

Of all hostels that i was in my trip through mexico, this was the best, very responsible in reserves, very clean, excellent location ( one block from the beach), rooms with a/c and the staff very friendly. Thanks Carlos, Tatti and pepe Lepua for the hospitality. I hope to be there again.

|One of the worst hostels I have ever stayed in. Staff were very unfriendly and not at all interested that we were separated in different rooms even though we booked into the same one. Bathrooms were constantly dirty and one didnt have a lock. Rooms were tiny and incredibly noisy until 5am.

great spot if you are looking to save some $$$ and have lots of fun! Be ready to party with all the regulars form Australia to Germany ,Argentina and all over. Very cool experiance!

El cuarto y el hostel en general, estaban sucios. La recepciòn nocturna escuchaba mùsica a fondo a la 1.30 AM. Los huèspedes, mexicanos, borrachos a las 6 AM, no dejaban de molestar a los que querìamos descansar. No volverè màs.

I thought this was a fantastic hostel.....if I had one wish it might be to have a common area for people to mix and meet and relax but everything was absolutely wonderful.....highly recommend maria sabina and would go back in a heartbeat.

The only good thing about this place is the location. Very close to the beach and city facilities. The staff was scary and the whole building smells bad. The kitchen was a mess no glass, no napkings, no detergent. At 3 different times my food disappeared from the fridge ( and It was tight up inside the market bag). Breakfast is not included. There is no common area, so you are not going to meet anybody unless the person is waiting to use the computer at the reception. The rooms are not clean, even with the cleaning lady doing her work everyday. Advice, look for other place to stay. It must have been something better than this. It´s the worst Hostel that I have been in Mexicoclose

There was a disgusting smell coming from the bathroom in the room. The lockers were made of plywood and had open backs which were pushed against a wall. Probably one of the worst hostels I've been to.

Already wrote that ceiling fan dangerously close to upper bunk swept a young woman off from the top bunk to the floor. She was very lucky, suffering only stiches it appears.

Roomate swept off top bunk by fan onto floor. Needed many stitches in her head. Location made sleeping almost impossible. I wouldn´t recommend it.

Im staying here for 9 nights and its the best hostel I went ever! The location is supergreat....its next to the beach, supermarket, the night clubs and I have never met such an amazing staff there....I will definitely miss u there! I have to come back!!!

I already told you about a dangerous situation in a room in an earlier thing like this that you sent me. The ceiling fan was too close to the upper bunk and hit one of the women, throwing her to the floor. She got a number of stitches and will probably get an MRI when she gets home. A dangerous situation in girls dorm. Fan too close to upper bed and one guest was hit by it and was thrown to floor. Deep head gash and many stictches at hospital. Staff have disconnected fan and we are using air conditioner. Hopefully they will not reconnect this fan. Very dangerous. Guest...

Very bad! the worst thing that can happen: to book 2 months before in the way to be sure to find your room waiting for u on the 31st of december ( very critical date!!!) and meet a receptionist who is not able to find a good explanation to the fact your room is occupied and the hostel is full!...

there was a huge problem with the booking system and heaps of people had to moved to another hotel. we were guaranteed it was the same and just as nice but it wasnt and they tried to charge the same price. also it was new year and we couldnt even go anywhere else because everything was booked out.
