Construction of the Leaning Tower lasted about 200 years beginning from 1173. The bell tower of the Cathedral, the tower wasn't designed to lean, but because of this unusual inclination it is now one of the most recognisable structures in the world.

“ I didn't actually climb the tower because I have a dodgy knee but I have to say even the sight of it was a lot more impressive than I was expecting. It looks like it leans at different angles depending on where you stand and has some really cool plaster work on it. Huge crowds visit it every day... ”
