Description of Central Station Guest-House
Central Station Guest-House is the most comfortable stay in Pisa just in front of the central railway station and just 10 minutes on foot from the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa, located in a historical town building. Can be easily reached from Galilei International Airport just in 5 minutes with the Lam Rossa bus. The Conference Building and the hospital Cisanello are attainable in 10 minutes with the Lam Blu city bus, while the hospital S. Chiara can be reached directly on foot. The CNR (national research council) can be reached just in 10 minutes with the Lam Verde bus. Central Station Guest-House, located in the heart of Pisa, has comfortable typical rooms with bathroom fitted with satellite TV Set and Wi-Fi internet connection. Thanks to its strategic position, the beautiful cities of Lucca (16 kms), Volterra (50 kms), Florence (80 km), Siena (100 km) the marvellous beaches of Versilia (20 km) and the Pisan Coast (10 km) are within easy reach. The Natural Park of the Cinque Terre and the famous Via dell'Amore can be reached just in 1 h by train! “ No one is ever around, you have to call the reception lady at her house for her to check you in, and only after 2 pm. You are not allowed to have meals inside the hostel and there are no decent places around to eat. ”

“ We stayed here on the eve of a ferry out of Livorno and were satisfied. 2 minutes away from the train station. Rooms were nice and spacious and very clean. Probably about a 15 min walk from the Leaning Tower. ”

“ I can't really comment on this hostel as when we arrived in Pisa we were told the building was having electricity problems and we would have to be moved to a nearby hotel. However, we were pleased that they did this and the hotel we were moved to was nice. ”
