Description of B&B La Mimosa

Via Livornese 216, Pisa 56122 The B&B La Mimosa is situated in a beautiful villa with garden near Pisa International Airport, in a privileged location between city and seaside, barely outside the historic center along the road which connects the city to its beach at Marina di Pisa. The city center, the leaning tower of Pisa, the Santa Chiara e Cisinello hospitals, the Congress Palace, the CNR, the University and the Airport can easily be reached from thr bus-stop just outside La Mimosa. Besides, seaside resorts such as Tirrenia and Calambrone are only approx. 7 km away. The superstrada and the motorway are also very near, and the Livorno port is only approx. 15 minutes away. The atmosphere at La Mimosa is very warm and welcoming and our guests usually immediately feel at home in our quarters! The spaciousness of La Mimosa enables us to accomodate both groups and large families. Check-in at around the clock, but it is necessary to inform us in advance of the expected arrival time. Check-out by 11:00 h. Once you have checked-in and received your keys you are free to come and go as you please. English and French is spoken. THE ROOMS We offer our guests 6 large rooms with various layouts, all furnished with typical Tuscan family furniture. Each room has its own balcony, TV, washbasin, A/C and Wi-Fi Internet access (free of charge). Three of the rooms have a private bath: one single room, one double room and one triple/quadruple room. The other rooms have a shared bathroom. All the baths have a shower and are equipped with towels, a courtesy set and a hairdryer. The rooms are cleaned daily and the bed linen is changed every three days. When you wake up in the morning a typical, lovely Italian breakfast prepared with love and care is awaiting you in the dining room. We also serve home made marmelades, cakes & tarts, chocolate, milk, coffee, fruit juices, yoghurt, cereals and further sweets. In the immediate vicinity of La Mimosa there is a supermarket which can be accessed directly from our garden. This enables you to acquire various snacks, foodstuffs and beverages, which you can then enjoy at your convenience on the large terrace (100 sq. meters). The terrace is at full disposition of our guests and it is furnished with chairs & sunchairs, tables and parasols. SERVICES CONVENTION WITH "SAN ROSSORE IN CAROZZA" Guided tours of the San Rossore Estate at EUR 9.50/person (the duration of the tour is approx. two hours and it takes visitors along the river Morto, to the wild pastures of the Mucca Pisana and to the agricultural areas of the estate). For further information: San Rossore in Carrozza BICYCLE RENTAL Upon request a number of bicycles are available free of charge PARKING Free parking in our fenced-in garden. We accept small animals. Upon request we provide the use of a washing machine. Upon request we provide shuttle service from/to the Airport & Railway Stations. We can make reservations for you in good local restaurants, yet with moderate prices. You will be very grateful, believe us! We are always at your disposition.
