I think they should give me my booking fee of 15 Euro back or I will report them to the police. What a rip-off!!close

The only mako - it was desribed as a double-room with a private bathroom - that's why we chose it. You will only have a private bathroom if the other two rooms of the apartment are empty - if there are other tourists there you will have to share! It was so in our case - it wasn't a big deal but I don't find it correct.close

We stayed at Caterina's own appartment and not at B&B Caterina Stazione. We were so satisfied with it that we hope we will soon have the opportunity to go back. We will recommend it to our family and friends when they will visit Pisa.

Wanted to leave Pisa straight away because we were treated like sh*t. Wrong address quoted on website. It is a pension, not a B n B. And it has no customer service.

the owner wasn't there when I had agreed to arrive at hostel, i had to start looking for another place to sleep, which was impossible. better routine for check in, not nice to be alone in pisa at night not knowing how to get a room somewhere.

I had to call the owner of the B&B which required figuring out how to use the italian public telephone system (since I don't have a cellphone that works in Europe) which was stressful. Then, I had to pick up my key from a coffee shop who didn't even ask for my ID and couldn't provide a...

No reception or staff at BnB. A male cleaner was waiting on the street to let me in - didn't feel very safe as a lone female traveller. My 'private' room was in a windowless passage to another 'private' room (fortunately unoccupied the bight I was there). Bathroom nice. Breakfast is at the pub...

We had to wait on the street for 45 minutes and make three phonecalls before we got the key from a café nearby. The organisation was... Well, everything could have been easier if we were told where where to get the key earlier. We felt like they had forgotten us.

Hostel location is good, very close to the railway station, and offering a panoramic view from the 6th floor over Pisa and the leaning tower at the Campo dei Miracoli. With only three rooms in a rebuilt flat it's really quiet. Using the bar as both reception and "brekfast room" is a bit funny, but it worked really well, and in our opinion we'd rather always eat breakfast with the locals. We'll recommend this place to everyone going to Pisa.close

A girl representing her told us that the room we had booked one month earlier was not available. she could not explain why and proposed to bring us by taxi to some apartment out of town. We protested and after some discussion the room seemed to be available after all. It appears that the Caterina B&B is used as the booking address, after which guests are systematically lured to another address. Not to be recommended!close

Caterina sent a maid to get me at the B&B and move me to another B&B not by the station. I reserved a single bed room, shared bathroom, A/C and TV. I was put in Caterina's kids bunkbed. It was dirty, no TV or A/C and hot! The maid tried her best but Caterina would not speak to me. I asked for a discount butshe said no. Do not stay here!close

The B&B is actually just a flat that she leases per room, and you are not allowed to use any of the facilities there (eg - kitchen), even though they are there. We arrived and could not get in, as she does not live there or have a reception there. We had to ring her to get her to come to us (but we had no phone or a number to call her on)...when moved to the other hotel on day 2 we had to waste our only full day in Pisa as we could not check in until 12, but had to be out of the B&B by 11. We also found we had to fight for our breakfast at the hotel to be free (as they tried to charge 5 euro each). Like we said - be warned. Our advice, stay in Florence as it is cheaper and just catch the train back into Pisa (1 hr trip) for a day as that is all that si really needed to see the area anyway.close
