We spent a few days in Piran and loved it. It is a lovely little town with many small winding lanes, many only a couple of metres wide. With a nice boat filled harbour and many fihs restaurants and cafes along the sea front, it's the perfect place to unwind and relax. Also, while being very touristy in summer there are very few English speaking tourists, mainly Slovenian, Italian and German, which makes a noice change! restaurants aren't exactly cheap, although tasty! |

Lonely Planet says to visit Piran quickly before moving along to the Croatian coast. I beg to differ, Piran was a charming town with gorgeous clear sea and a lovely friendly atmosphere. If youre looking for somewhere to chill for a few days, stay here. |

I thought Piran was just stunning and wanted to spend more time soaking in the beautiful views and sunshine. Piran is a small but gorgeous town, with lots of restaurants, cafes and heritage buildings. Theres two hostels in town, in good locations. |
