Alibi T60 Hostel is a small, but really nice hostel in old city centre of Piran, just 150 m from the beach and fresh sea. Nicely renovated, typical old Piran house offers you five very private doublebed ensuite rooms with nice colours, air-conditioning, fridge, modern furniture, fresh design and of course private shower and toilet. Attic room features a wonderful terrace with magnificent view of the sea and whole city of Piran. Reception is in our ALIBI B 11 HOSTEL, address Bonifacijeva 11 street in Piran, 150 m away. Please, call us before arrival, because we might be just on the other location (other ALIBI HOSTELS in Piran), or wait few minutes. Thanks. Tourist tax not included in price.

No laundry or cooking facilities was disappointing - and lack of kettle in the room limited the point of having a fridge

We stayed in the room on top wich felt very small and got us thinking about how to place for example twin beds along the walls to get a little more space, now the big bed occupied almost all standing space. Air conditioning worked excellent which was absolutely needed. The terrace on the roof was...

We had to wait 40 minutes for the pickup because the hostel-guy had dinner with his girlfriend. We had the upper room with a very nice private roof-top. But the bathroom was just to dirty and heater is not able to keep the room warm in winter. (Not warmer than 11°C.)

Good things: it was cheap, good location (although, anywhere in the old town is -- it's so small!). I wouldn't recommend it, but it does the job if you need cheap or last minute.close

Definately a unique and quirky room. However, no kitchen/fridge access and a toilet the size of a shoe box. Also the hostel messed up on our first night so we were in the other Alibi hostel in a dorm rather than a private as we had booked, although the staff member was very apologetic and gave us discount (the dorms in the other Alibi hostel were bit of a dive by the way!)close

When looking atyour websiteit was notclear that the accomodation was ayouth hostel type. Therefore, we have paidthe same price as if we were at a hotel.Besides that, otherdetails were not appropriate for a family like us.For example, the address that yougave uswas not the addressthatwe stayedin. When we arrived at Piran and we were looking for the placewe 've met- BY CHANCE - one girlthat only afterwords we realized that were an employee of Alibi. When we were checking in, we have paidmorethan half of the pricebut we were not with our luggage yet(that was realyy rude!).In the spite of it, the girl (employee)dind'tgive us the keysarguingthat we shouldhave paid the whole amount. The place was really dirty, noisyand we were not informed about little details like how turn on the hot wateror how to park a little bit closer by the appartmentto take our luggage in. The main problem was that we were six peopleoccupyingtwelve places(3 rooms for four people each one). In any moment in the reservationit was clear that we were doing this kind of arrangement. We could stayed there fora cheaper priceoccupying only two of the appartments. In fact, we thoughtwe reserved threedouble apartmentsinstead of what we had. We think that was really unfair. We arenot going to recommend this place to anyone. We felt a littletrapped. Thank you, Wedekin's familyclose

But when we got to Piran, we were given a room with terrible mattresses (you could feel the metal springs through the fabric), you had to make your own beds, and there was no breakfast. The room was meant for 4 and had a kitchen which we didn't expect but there was not room for 4 people. We ended up leaving and going to a hotel. The young man on duty was very nice and the rooms were reasonably clean, but the whole place needs renovation and upgrading. The cost was about the same as we paid in Ljubliana and did not include breakfast or maid service. The location was good, one block from the ocean. They had internet access, but also 4 floors w/ many stairs. It sounds like there is a new owner who may be planning some upgrades.close
