The pool was nice but the lack of resturant was a little annoying. The staff were very helpful and the rooms were clean.

This is the BEST hostel in which I have every stayed. In fact, I would classify it as a hotel with working AC, hot water, a pool, etc. It is within walking distance of the beach, the main strip, and a cheap restaurant as well as Mango Tree (great massages!) Would totally recommend!

this is a fab little place, really close to the beach and a short walk to where its all happening. cute little pool is good for meeting people, would benefit if the bar area served food. rooms are excellent and staff are helpful and have good english. definately recommend.

The staff at Squareone were very accommodating which ensured we had a fantastic time in Patong. They even supplied umbrellas when it rained. I would certainly recommend Squareone to other travellers.

Good Place to stay. Clean rooms. But you get the rooms cheaper if you book direkt to the hostel. At least in the low season. Not any nois from the bars ut in the street

Lovely new hotel (only one year open) they only have a bar and no food but free internet and a nice little pool the staff were very nice and helpful recommending restaurants etc would def go back

10/10, huge room, power shower, great staff more like a hotel than a hostel. Great location; minutes from the beach. Highly Reccommend. :)

Very clean hotel. Friendly staff. Quiet at night. A bit of a walk from a lot of the action (restaurants, bars, shops). Noise from construction close by is bothersome in the morning.

SquareOne is as good as a hotel as rooms are very very spacious and clean, but it is as cosy as an hostel. The staff is great, had so much fun with them!! I really recommend this place.

This place was paradise in our trip! Stuff was very nice and helpful. At first we thought that we´d stay here just 3 nights but we ended up staying 11! It was like hotel!

Single Rooms were pretty cheap. Everything was relatively good, but could also have been improved. Overall a good experience, but there are probably places that could have been either better or cheaper

The location isnt too bad,about 10minute walk to Bangla road. We got a double room for 300baht, only problem was that there was building work goin on around the hostel. The building work starts at 8 every morning. The room we had was adjacent to the building site so we heard everything.... more The location isnt too bad,about 10minute walk to Bangla road. Great staff, lovely place, nice little pool and free internet. DVD player in room with lots of DVDs you could borrow from reception. Only thing that could make it better would be a little restaurant/bar. Had a great time here.

Absolutely loved it. It was excellent value for money and a really good find. The room was huge with a king size bed and a single bed although there were only two of us. The room that we stayed was cool. We had fridge, TV, closet, 1 queen size and 1 single bed. The toilet is also big. Even if its like 10 minutes away from patong beach, its still fine. Its along the main road thou a bit difficult to find at first. Overall, i was satisfied. Mabuhay ang Square One!!!

The staff were great and the room was more than ideal. The only issue we had was the construction site beside squarone starting work as early as 7.30 some mornings... they made alot of noise with hammers and drills. Managemnt should have ensured that work would not disturb their own guests.

gr8 room for the price but the location poor really ...but if u just want to go to the Patong beach it's near but long way walk to Bangla Road...depend on ur need :)

The only bad thing was the construction around the hostel. They were doing work on a building next door to our room. Not good with a hangover!Apart from that, highly recommended!

A nice little hotel that was close to the beach. However, right now, there is a ton of construction going on right around it, so be prepared for some noise in the morning.

Definitely a place to stay. The location is good since it's just around the corner from the loud street party life. The staff is great and always willing to help out. They were a 5 minute walk from the beach and the owner is really nice. The rooms were also nice, especially for the price. The hostel was under construction when I stayed there, which might have accounted for the low prices, but it still a pleasant experience. The hotel also had hot water, TV,...

I stayed there for 5 days in mid-May. Everything was great, especially the hotel employees. As friendly and helpful as it can get. Very clean hotel, located nearby the beach (3 minute slow walk).

My son and I very much enjoyed our stay at Square One Hostel in Phuket. The room was big and luxurious and close to beach and shops. It was very good value for money. We will recommend it to family and friends holidaying in Phuket.
