The people at Baan Suay are really friendly. The food they offer is also very good. However, the fridge had a water leak problem and ants got all over our toiletries.

Loved this hostel/hotel. The owners were incredibly helpful, as were the rest of the staff. The only complaint is that there were little ants everywhere, more of a nuisance than anything else really. Arrived 2 days early and just turned up, Suporn the lady who runs it was lovely, sorted us out a room and was always really helpful and friendly. 10 minute walk to the beach and Karon town. We had a lovely stay here and would recommend.

Excellent large room for an excellent price. Owners were very friendly and helpful. 15 min walk to beach and same to town but besides that this place is fantastic. Clean, fresh towels and free water every day. Loved this place and would stay here again if we returned ... no doubt.

This was a fantastic place to stay - lots of character, helpful staff, excellent food and the best milkshakes we could find in Thailand. Good for those who want to distance themselves from the madness of Patong.

Great place to stay. 10 min walk down a main street to the beach with lots of restaurants, atms, currency exchanges etc. The owner was there to greet us when we came in. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the main floor has a great lounge and bar. Overall, great time here! We even extended our stay!

this is our second time in Baan Suay and it is fantastic, very helpful staff, Daniel and Suporn are great hosts and were able to share their knowledge of the area to help us plan the next stage of our trip . The beach is great and only a 10 minute walkaway.We will return for longer next time.

This is one of the best places we have stayed on our extended trip. The owners are very helpful and kind. The pool and restaurant are great. The Internet is free. The rooms are spacious, clean, have a TV and great showers. I would recommend this to anyone staying near Karon Beach.

It's far from the beach (they'll tell you 10min but it's at least 15-20 in the roaring heat), the staff are not helpful at all if you have questions (more interesed in the footie game on TV than in answering our questions), the shower stall flooded, they... more This place was awful from start to finish. This was exactly what I was looking for. Away from Patong yet still close to beaches and a quieter nightlife. We really enjoyed our stay in Baan Suay. Everything was of a high standard. Very clean rooms with big comfy beds, good showers, great food. Excellent value for money and would definately stay there again. Owners and staff very helpful and friendly.

Great little hotel with a nice pool, huge bed and great rooms. Cute bar and restaurant as well although it is at least a 10 min walk into the beach. 7-11 close nearby. They have scooters which you can borrow to ride down to the shops and beach.

Hotel is bit far from everything but if you rent a motorbike like we did it wasn't a problem. Or take a tuk tuk. Toilet facilities are great. The restaurant is confortable and staff is kind. Rooms are clean and beautiful, try to have one with a balcony cause its nice to sit there.
