Brand new place, great service and nice rooms. Close enogh to walk, but far enough to escape patong. Definitely reccomend.

Hillside is a guest house but provides rooms, service and comfort of a hotel. It was way above our expectations! Now, some people say it's far to the beach, far to Phuket Town etc. I'm actually happy not to stay in the middle of Bangla amongst all the neon-lit craziness. This place is a bit off the central area but not far from any needs. The beach is a 10 minute walk down the road and pretty much anything is accessible within 10-20 minutes walk. Go further? Rent a motor bike!close

We booked a twin room in Hillside and the rooom was really more like a hotel than a hostel. All the basic amenities were there - fresh towels, beach towels, aircon, safe, TV, fridge even a DVD player! The bathroom was v. clean and nice. Staff were super friendly and awesome. Hillside is a gem!...

this has got to best place i've stayed in for the price. The staff were more than helpful and accomodating and only a short walk to the beach. I would recommend Hillside to anyone and will be going back there again for sure.

reallynice and new apartments which was more like a hotel than a guest house but just no good for sleeping as i onlymanaged to get a very little sleep due to the very busy road outside.

Hi this is a great place to stay about 10 minute walk to beach and centre -well worth value for money -rooms are fab and very clean !! deff recommand :)

Great Hostel more like a hotel than hostel! only opened 6 months every thing is brand new and clean!! Staff are so helpful and friendly. Location is good 10 - 15 min walk to beach and shops. We wanted to stay longer but they were booked up!

This is by far the best hostel I've stayed in EVER. So clean, so pampering! The one downside is the location - it's about 30-45 minutes by foot from the town center. Tuktuks are always an option, but it's still a bit of a pain.

Rooms are fab! Road noise is pretty bad and we were kept awake from 3am - 7am by people screaming and jumping in the pool. Maybe management need to act on this. Great hostel though and only 10 mins to the beach.

WOW!! Felt like I was living it up in this hotel. Huge room, t.v, DVD player, pool etc. Rooms are exactly how they are pictured on hostel world. The staff were so kind, even let me have a late check out for no extra charge due to my late flight. Lovely plave for a great price.

This is a little off the beach but it is still in walking distance. The rooms are brill they do look like the pictures. def more like a hotel!!

Great location, short walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. The staff were amazing - they couldn't have been more helpful. Everything was brand new and the place was extremely clean. I would highly, highly recommend it and would definitely stay there again!

I would NOT recommend this place. Room was spotless but location is HORRIBLE. Its on a busy road and the traffic kept us up ALL night. Then around 7am construction started. 15 minute walk to nightlife/20 minute walk to beach. There is no where to eat/chill around here and we saw NO ONE. Staff helped us book both a daytrip to PhiPhi and our onward travel, which made the trip go that little bit smoother. We have really enjoyed our stay here at Hillside, and would definaltley reccomend this hotel.close

In our view this is actually a hotel not just a hostel. Beautiful, fully kitted out rooms, perfectly clean and brilliant staff. Awesome.

This is an excellent guesthouse - rooms are as in picture - extremely clean and well presented. Small pool and about 10-15 minute walk from patong beach - worth staying for the price.

Usually when I book rooms online they never look like the picture; this one looks better. It is a great place. Everyone is very friendly and the rooms are amazing. I can't believe how cheap it is compared to what you get.
