This place has a very strategic location, within walking distance to the riverfront, the national museum & the royal palace. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I got my money`s worth.

Room much too small, and too expensive in comparison with other hostels in Pnom Penh. We did not find the terrace nor were we told, that there was one. Experience was quite different to the photos given in hostelworld!!!

This guesthouse is OK for the price. We didn't find the food or room wonderful, but it was fine and the bed, while very old, was surprisingly comfortable. Although it's a basic place, its best feature is the great location.

The expats who are regulars there are also friendly and fun (a bit like "Cheers"!). The location is fantastic - right near the Royal Palace and the Riverside and overlooking a lovely park area, but close to lots of bars, cafes and restaurants. As a single, Western female I felt safe and comfortable being in the area and in the guesthouse/pub. I have no idea where the "sex-tourist" review came. I would definitely go back and give it my full recommendation.close

The location is excellent and the staff were terrific..they could not have been more helpful. The bar food was very good also. However, the standard of cleanliness was extremely poor. The bathroom floor was dirty, so too were the bedsheets. The room was not cleaned during the duration of our stay.

The hostel itself is in a great location close to the riverfront, and a stone's throw away from the National Museum, but this didn't stop us moving after one night because the atmosphere wasn't very friendly, and the hostel really was nothing special. There's better deals in Phnom Penh to be had too, so you'll check them out instead if you're wise!close

This guesthouse had the best location in town! very close to the palace. Clean rooms and the manager was very nice when we arrived. The atmosphere was a little uncomfortable in the pub. But over all a good place to stay.

Upon arrival we were told that we actually didn't have a room because the other people had decided to stay another night. After a fairly long day of travelling it is pretty annoying to find out that you don't have a room on arrival. They did take us to another hotel about a block around the corner, and showed us one room that was located between the bar and the public toilet and stank of urine, and another room upstairs where the bed was made but the sheets obviously hadn't been changed and told us that we could have it for the same amount of money as we would have been paying. Then they wanted us to pay up front which we found very strange and all agreed that this hotel was dodgy and decided to go elsewhere. We ended up finding a really nice hotel by the river, that was clean, in a great location and much cheaper. Basically my point is why bother using a internet booking site, if you don't actually hold your bookings. We paid for a booking, and a service fee and although it is a small amount of money, it is principle. This money could have gone,, to a meal, a beggar, or an orphanage rather than us pay for services that were never fulfilled. Thanks for nothing Rory, avoid this place if you can.close
