Just perfect for those travelling on wheels!! We're located at just 6/7 km from Perugia city centre...only 15 minutes bus ride (line P) and just 6 by car... For those travelling by train, maybe The 35 minutes ride from Perugia train station to the hostel could be a little challenge but remember: the more you travel the best you can see!! By the way, you could get off at Ponte S. Giovanni train station... just 15 min bus ride (line M) away...Just check if your train stops there!! The hostel is the door to a protected green area where you'll be able to see a wide range of wildlife and vegetation from all over the world!! The hostel is in a very old building that used to be a big farm, all the rooms (2-6 beds) are with services inside and very comfortable beds! ...Our creative and genuine kitchen with a very relaxed atmosphere will make your stay a very pleasant stay...Come and join us!!

Location- Had a car so was brilliant for Perugia, assisi etc but would be v.difficult for public transport users (although offers a lift to get there from station)

It was a pleasure staying at Ostello Ponte Felcino! My only wish is that we had researched the bus routes from Perugia.

However, the people were very nice and willing to answer any of my questions regarding the area. The only main issue regarding the hostel would be the location. It's rather distant from the center, and there's not a whole lot to do around the hostel (except for some grocery shopping...), so it's necessary to take the bus.close

The major disadvantage was the location in Ponte Felcino. There were bus stops nearby, but the buses ran only once an hour.

It is really a very nice and quiet hostel. Rooms are super clean and bed is so comfortable. staff are kind and helpful. The only problem may be that it's a bit too far from Perugia the city. But for those who are going to Gubbio like me, it's perfect.

This hostel is great - location is a bit hard to get to. You have to take a bus, and the buses only run every hour or so, so know what you're doing before you try to get there.

They really appreciate good living, good food and good conversation, so eating dinner with them gives you a true sense of Italian hospitality at its finest -- even if you can't understand what they're saying. Location-wise, it's a bit of a mixed bag. It's actually quite far from Perugia, seemingly in a separate town, and the bus drivers and locals don't speak any English. There were no tourists whatsoever in the neighborhood of the hostel, and I was surprised by the total lack of any American guests. It seemed exclusively European, right down to the Swedish help. But, all of this contributes to a very authentic Italian atmosphere that most American tourists never even see. The neighborhood is quaintly charming and the hostel is actually located in a medieval building that I would guess was a monestary. It would recommend it.close
