Make a right after exiting train station, then turn right onto first street to find this gem. No hot water but very firm beds and clean rooms. Breakfast served before 5 am good for early Machu Picchu risers. 8 am checkout, but comfortable waiting areas.

I didn't think the hostel was that hard to find, just keep turning right as soon as you get out the gate from the train station. Location is pretty good. Staff was very friendly, I was sick and had to stay in the room most of the day after we were supposed to have checked out and they didn't make us pay extra.close

Overlooks train station but no trains run late at night. No hot water, at all. Hard to find, we had to get directions from tourist office. Left luggage identified by tag with room number gave peace of mind.

The location was great and they provided an early breakfast at 5am and they met us at the train station and carried our bags the short distance to the hotel which is opposite. However, the details on Hostelworld are wrong, they do not have cable/satellite tv or mini-bars! Plus all the DVD's are...

The staff honestly creeped me out a little bit, they were a bit disorganized but someone did show up to the train station. They charge you a certain percent to use your credit card. Great place to rest, they have tv and dvd. not a place to know people but a good hotel. good roons, clean and confortable.

Nice place, Aguas Calientes is so small you can't really go wrong with location. The guy on reception was quite abrupt, but we had positive experiences with the rest of the staff. If you're brave enough to arrive in Aguas Calientes without a reservation, there are plenty of hostel options that...
