They also accepted my payment but harassed me later because the bill had a small tear. Then, as the guy tried to show me the rip, he ripped it even more. I would have changed bills with him earlier but he did not mention the rip. He only mentioned it because he tried to use the money and was rejected. Overall the service was pretty bad! I guess it would be different if I were fluent in Spanish. In closing, this hostel is way overpriced for the service I got.close

Lost our reservation (after we even emailed to confirm). Frequent problem; see other posts. Staff was unfriendly. Do not recommend.

I really enjoyed staying here. It´s very close to the train station which is nice. I liked in so much, I will be staying there again in a couple weeks. When you finish your booking through hostelworld, the final page shows an email address for the hotel. I simply emailed that address to confirm my reservation and I had no problems.close

we booked this hostel thru you guys but when we got there and showed our booking, we were told there was no reservation and that we had to do it through tambo.com or somesuch. so i want to know, who got my $5.60 deposit? and why were we sent to a different hostel?

This was a really overpriced hostel. They are loads of hostels in Aguas Calientes. If I´d known this before I went, I never would have booked this place.

Yes, the place was very close to the train station but that's about the only good things about the place. It is actually a bed and breakfast, which was not advertised. The breakfast was not good at all and in general it was too expensive to be worth anything.

This was a neat hostal (lower standard but although) with supergreat staff!!!!!!!!! Whatever we needed they could help us and the people in Machu Picchu were so friendly and helpful. We recommend this place with all our heart! Lena, Roger, Asa ocg Anders from Sweden
