we booked a twin with private bath, they gave us a dorm (with bathroom inside). No hot water. They did not clean the trash bin for all 3 days during our staying, that smelt because toilet paper had to be dumped in trash bin, not toilet. Staff are talk more than they do. A very good hostel -one of the cleanest, safest and friendliest we ve ever visited. It is not so central, but the staff taught us how to use the bus and that is a great experience. Very cosy terrace.

nice place!So quiet! However the breakfast is NOT included and the water is NOT hot, is just worm! But, its a good place to stay!have s lot of buses close! Nice staff. recomends

Its a very nice homely place with very friendly staff. Location is in a nice quiet neighbourhood. It is only about 20mins ride (by bus) to the coast, which is very convenient. Stores, banks etc within 10mins walking distance. We felt pretty safe in the hostel as well as the area. However,... more Its a very nice homely place with very friendly staff. And for some random reason, a staff member walked into our room at 11.30pm, just when we were falling into deep sleep, scaring the wits out of us!close

Cosy, chilled, good vibe, small and perfectly thought out by the owners. English is spoken fluently by the absolutley gourgeous staff girls. they are gourgeous, not only because of their looks but also they are really great when it comes to helping you and understanding problems.

a nice quiet hostel, in a good neighbourhood. Not much to do around the hostel, but the internet is good, the showers are always hot, and the beds are comfy. only slight problem i had was communicating with people. very much a castellano family based hostel

This place is okay but not really anywhere - not at the beach and not in Lima down town so it´s either a walk or cab ride to most things. Rooms can be a little bit noisy if people are using the communial bathroom next to your room. They have a good DVD collection that you can watch in the lounge room.close

Visiting Peru and staying at Hostel Malka was awesome!!! I really felt like home, even Lima is kind of a mess...the hostel Staff gave me directions, tips so I had such a nice vacation!! I am thinking on coming back again and of course to the same Hostel!

Really really helpful staff. Very good english who explained what we could do with our time in Lima and how to arrange transport to our next destination. Rooms and bathrooms all clean and well kept. Noise tended to travel so not very easy for a sleep in once people got up. But overall - great...

The hostel is very clean and safe. They also have a safety box. Pick up and transfer from/to airport was okay. Nice garden. Very good breakfast (but not included)! Very safe location ... unfortunately bit out of the way.

Great hostel, would really recommend staying there as it´s friendly, cosy and safe. The only thing I would not recommend is their transfer from the hostel to the airport if you want to be on time for your flight!

I would recommend this hostel to anyone. The hostel is ideally placed for getting around. The staff worked hard at keeping the communal areas clean. I found them always helpful and friendly.

Nice Hostel!!!!! Very clean, staff help at any time. A lot of travel information. We nedded a bus tickets, and the staff call to the bus station, and they came with the tickets, we do not need to go to the terminal. For me was excellent, because i use this time to travel in Lima. This hostel is amazing....the staff is very helpfull, and hold day is looking if you need somethink....and they can help you to organized your trip in Peru. Have full travel information. The hostel is so clean and good located...in the middle of the city. Thanks for all, guys. See you again...

This is one of the nicest hostels I´ve stayed in, in south america! The staff is really friendly and helpful, they have lots of cool stuff including a climbing wall and it´s rediculously clean. I wouldn´t even keep my house that clean.

Advertising a bit confusing re internet, laundry etc... all additional and quite costly compared to around town. Wuiet dependant of other guests. Helpful staff.

This place is clean and cute and a great surprise from some of the places I have stayed in South America. I did not have much time to go about Lima, so I am not really sure about the location, but there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Also, there is a rock climbing wall in...
