Secure and quiet place to stay when needing a few hours between flights from Jorge Chavez Intl Airport in Lima - just 10 minutes from room to airport. Secure taxi service to/from airport arranged through them. Would highly recommend them for any layover. Located in "bombed-out Bagdad"...

Very convenient for the airport. No other reason to stay in this area. A pick up car was ontime and staff were friendly and curteous and all spoke english.

Residencial Victor is a clean, well-managed hostel located in a poor area of Lima. However, it is close to the airport, secure, and has a very friendly, english-speaking owner.

It was safe, clean and comfortable with a nice, real hot shower. The driver was at the airport immediately after I cleared customs and was ready to take me back at 4 AM on time. The friendly owner knocked on my door as a "wakeup call" to make sure I would not miss my flight. A good choice for airport layovers.close

Hostel Residencial Victor is perfect for travelers needing a safe place near the airport for a quick overnight. The neighborhood is dicey - as is the entire area within 20-30 minutes from the Lima airport, but the place is secure and clean and the staff friendly and helpful.

Hotel owner Andy is very nice and helpful. But hot water supply for bathing should be improved.

I was travelling to Peru by myself and this place was the perfect place to stay. It's family run so the people are very nice and go above and beyond. I highly recommend staying at this place.

very close to airport, but our only option for dinner after checking in was a $12 Domino's pizza or BBQ Chicken delivery. Good for a place to stay if you're between latenight/early morning flights

We thought we would be saving ourselves the 11 dollar cab ride to and from Miraflores, since the hotel offered airport pickup and drop-off. However, the pick up didn´t happen, so we ended up taking an 8 dollar cab anyway, which was not reimbursed. We were taken to the airport in the morning, though. The hotel is in a pretty sketchy part of town, we definitely wouldn´t have stayed here if we wanted to leave the hotel and explore Lima. But for sleeping for a few hours it was good, very clean, relatively quiet and comfortable.close

We arrived late at night, and nobody from the hostel was there to pick us up, despite even reconfirming with them that day. We had a harrowing taxi experience. The hostel is in the red light district down a unlit back alley. To make matters worse, the hostel refused to reimburse the 10 dollar taxi. They lied that someone was there and we just did not see them. It is clear this was not true, becuase we waited a long time and would have seen someone with a sign. For this dingy hostel we ended up payong 50 dollars! 20 per person plus 10 for a taxi. In addition, our driver in the morning was late. You would be better off sleeping in the airport, or getting a better hostel farther away. The staff was unhelpful and sleezy, it is in the worst area of Lima, and they lie.close

Very convenient to the airport, and early morning transfer was no problem. Even if just for a night, catch a cab to the Mega Plaza for S/ 5 to enjoy secure shopping, food mall, and English language movies.

All the staff at Hostel Victor were increadibly helpful. I highly recommend it to anybody who is just passing through Lima for a night and needs somewhere near the airport. Their hotel transfers (even at 4 in the morning) were effortless.
