highly recommended. the staff were extremely helpful in suggesting activities in lima - even booking them for us. the hostal is very clean an dyou even get breakfast delivered to your room.

Angelo and his family are wonderful, and are so helpful. We loved hearing his stories about Peru. I would recommend this hostel to anyone staying in Lima!

As most of these comments attest, the helpful advice by all the staff (especially the owners) make this a great hostel. The location is ok(10-15min walk to the centre of Miraflores) and the rooms and beds are comfortable

We really enjoyed staying here! It's about 10 minutes walk from the center of Miraflores, and about 5 minutes walk from a huge supermarket. As other reveiwers have mentioned, Angelo and his family are very welcoming, and Angelo is a goldmine of information about Lima.

I had a really nice stay there and would definitely stay there again. While it was a little bit of a walk from the main part of Miraflores, I really enjoyed walking it. I saw the staff go out of their way to assist a couple who had lost their baggage- something you would not see in your average... more I had a really nice stay there and would definitely stay there again. Difficult to judge a place when you haven´t actually stayed in the place that you booked! Put up in an awful Hotel instead that was not pleasant or safe for 2 girls. We turned up at the hostel and the owner had yet again over booked and told us he would be putting us up in hotel 3 blocks away for the same price. Was not very impressed, I booked this hostel because of the good reviews but the owner makes you feel like all he does is fib.

Angelo was extremely helpful. Our experience in Lima would not have been nearly as great if we had not talked to Angelo before setting out to explore the city. The B&B was clean, in a great location, and safe.

I actually didn`t get to stay at this hoatal, they were over booked eventhough I wrote them in advance and the night before, they did not inform me that they did not have room for me but confirmed my stay. Stayed in a hotel around the block which was no what I wanted. Very friendly, informative and helpful host. B and B rather than a hostel but more of a personal touch because of same. Nice location near upmarket suburb of Miraflores but still only 10 minutes from Lima centre.

There is no singage nor any mention of the name near the doorbell, nothing. We must have the wrong address so we asked the cab to take us to an intenet cafe, checked the address then got another cab back! The rooms are shabby and not good value. The hot water is only by arrangement. The owner...

The only comments we can give is for Character, Location and Staff, as B&B hostal tradiciones had a over booking when we arrived - all other comments refer to the TAC hotel. They fully managed the reallocation in the same area. it was not all that was promised. make sure you have a room confirmed. had to pay the cab fare back from the place we spent the night in bc our room was given to someone else. internet did not work most of the time with the wifi. there are other options that are much closer to or in actual...
