The staff were really good, welcoming and helpful, The hostel was very clean and the location was good, although it is on a very busy road. Because of security we were woken up several times every night because people are ringing the door bell to get in, mostly around 3-4am.

Very secure place to stay. They take picture of every persons who entry the door + cameras. We had such a good time here, just the room was without window so it was difficult with the fresh air (anyway-this problem has all city:( Still I can highly recommended!

Great place to stay. Located in a nice area of Lima by the beach it is a short taxi ride from the center of the city. The staff is very friendly. Francis will help you with everything - where to eat, what to do, and will help make bookings for your entire trip if you need. Not to mention free...

Couldnt ask for more from a hostel, you can even start your own band, they have enough DVDs to start their own store and they are great hosts. highly recommended

Great hostel, staff were really helpful, it was more like having an apartment than a normal hostel room, great for anyone who plays music with all the musical equipment available to use!

We only stayed briefly, even so, after leaving my phone in the bed when we got up early to catch a flight to Cusco, within an hour Francis had called our hostel in Cusco and told me that he would send it securely that afternoon to me. I received it the next day, he wouldn`t even accept payment from me for this service ! Francis, thank you very much. I hope to visit you again one day and will recommend your hostel to everybody I meet.close

Francis is really helpful! The hostel is clean and has speedy free internet. Definitely recommend... we are going back to stay there in a couple weeks. Cold showers though.

i had a wonderful time in the miraflores house, I immediatley felt that it was a home from home and francis did everything he could to ensure we had a safe and lovely time..I would recommend it to anyone travelling to Lima

A great location and a spacious room. Our room smelled a bit, but the building had character and is close to cinema, Starbucks and fast food outlets. Oh dear, I´ve turned in to a junkie. Francis the owner is awesome.

The owner Francis was incredibly helpful, which made the hostel very welcoming. There was a strange musty smell in our room, however, I´d definitely recommend this place to other travellers.

Great location, very close to banks, ATMs and restaurants and only a short walk from the shopping areas. Staff were excellent and even did my washing for me free of charge even though I brought a set of clothes to her late in the afternoon! Had a brilliant time at Miraflores house it was like home away from home. Frances made us feel at home and nothing was too much trouble he went out of his way to make it a really pleasant stay. I recommend Miraflores house to everyone.

High speed internet was also available. I would highly recommend Miraflores House!close

Had the most amazing stay in Miraflores in April 2008, Frances was a legend, so welcoming and helpful and basically planned our trip around Peru. The hostel was very homily and would definitly recommend to stay here. A must for travellers!!

Only stayed one night but found owners extremely helpful and friendly with great local knowledge. Room fine - tv and dvd player were a nice touch! Showers only lukewarm, very basic breakfast.

Francis is an absolute genius! On arrival he immediately sorted 4 onward bus journeys through Peru in all of 5 minutes. After our 2 night stay we left 2 bags containing numerous valuables which Francis delivered to us 3 weeks later when in transit at Lima airport. Host went above and beyond in the service department. He assisted my mother who had not been feeling well. He also helped us get room reservations in Cusco in the height of the season! Excellent service.
