The staff/keeper is excellent. He is friendly and is a wealth of knowledge and the breakfast is unmatched compared to other hostels in the area. He is friendly and is a wealth of knowledge and the breakfast is unmatched compared to other hostels in the area. The downfall is that when you pay online the small fee, it is NOT included in the price when you check out. The showers were not hot, the location is variable. It is close to the market and downtown area, but it is extremely filthy area. A group of dogs were barking in the street in front of the hostel between 2:30 - 3:40am making it very hard to sleep. If you like a clean bed/nice staff, this is the place to sleep. There are many other hostels in the area which are about the same price but in a cleaner part of town.close

Maruja´s husband speaks very good English and is very helpful. Unfortunately the staff have a habit of disappearing and you are left by yourself. Hostal within easy walking distance of the centre. Pricey hostal
