It is in the city itself and KOMTAR is just a walking distance. It is very affordable.

Nice Place. But the toilet has no exit fan so the toilet smell remain in the room forever. Other then that is OK.

A KFC fast food is also there. Junction of Perak and Macalister (2 minutes walk) is a good place to catch a bus towards Komtar, and Burma street is a place to catch a bus to Batu Ferringhi.close

It was a bit far out of the way to get to the main sights you had to figure out the bus or get taxi's and the beds were rock hard. It was probably just the weekend we were there but very hard to sleep with the noise from the road. But the staff and facilities couldn't be faulted, just poor...

Only coffee was supplied in the rooms but no Tea. I dont' drink coffee. Excellent taxi service as the driver was well informed and a good guide.

the place was ok.. air conditioning and hot water, tv - so everything you need to have a pleasant stay.. maybe the location was not so great - a little far from the center of the city. but if you take a bus or a taxi its ok!

As the premises are quite open, I'm not so sure with the security. Please be aware that the hostel is located out of city. Forget the mentioned bus possiblities; the fares for cabs sum up! Recommend to get a slightly more expensive hotel in city (e.g. Hotel Mingood), in the end you spent the same money for more comfort. Sometimes very noisy.close

If your travelling alone then this is far out from the main areas, and other people, meaning taxi's are a must, which increases your budget. It was very clean and secure, but the staff weren't very approachable. It maybe better if your in a group!

The hostel was much further away from the city than the directions indicated. The gym was advertised as a facility of the hostel but when we arrived we discovered that you had to pay for it. The hostel was advertised as having internet but didnt. Staff not very helpful.
