It was reasonably clean but there was certainly no frills. The room was very plain but the location was excellent as it is very close to the beach.

Babas son welcomed us with the greatest warmth. The location is great in Batu Ferringhi some km from Georgetown. The standard on the rooms is "backpackerish" and make sure you get the AC-rooms.

The staff here are excellent and would do anything for you. The location is great 1minute walk 2the beach. The guesthouse is very basic, no plugs in rooms, paper thin walls, you will be woken every morning at 5am with noise even with earplugs. If your on a budget, it'll suit.

Loction is just perfect, beach is accross the road. No air con just a fan. Security deposit at Reception would be a good addition too. Overal it was a pleasant stay.

Very barebones guesthouse, but right across the street from the beach and some great local restaurants. Nice staff, but the rooms aren't going to win any awards. Clean and simple, nothing more.

Its a very friendly place and the owners will really do their best to help you out with anything. The location is very good if your looking for a beach as its a 5 seconds walk, but if your looking to be in George Town, its an hour away..

Our stay here was very nice, we were right on the Veranda looking out to the sea. The room was perfectly fine with a ceiling fan, but would recommend getting AC. Literally 30 seconds walk to the beach. Great place and great people.

This is unspectacular and the walls are a little thin. But it is in a decent spot and the staff are kind and you feel safe - which counts for a lot. Lacks some character though.

This hostel is one of the cleanest hostels we have stayed in and the rooms were a good size. The staff were great, they couldnt have done more for us. Great location right on the beach and close to the night market and loads of great eating places.

staff ok, the room had bugs jumping on the bed/pillow no sheets provided for double bed just one small towel to use as a sheet, although it's cheap we wouldn't stay there again, go to ali's next door!!!!!

We booked at the Baba Guesthouse, but actually we stayed at their partner guesthouse called E.T. It was excellent!! Great friendly staff, great location, meet loads of great people! 10 out of 10!!

very nice place stayed for 3 days the people are so freindly its unreal. basic air conditioed room but highly recomended. aviod harry potter and go smoke with jimmy at the diving centre, cool as what (rymes with duck!)
