Hostel was great value for the money, the staff, think they were the owners were lovely. on 2 occaisions the man that worked there dropped us off into the centre of patong because it was raining and to the beach. it is about a good 15 min walk to the beach/centre but its good that its away from...

I just came from Phuket, 5 min back. I am sitting here to write abt this guest house. It was unexpectedly awesome. Clean, friendly and Mr. Ya has got a very friendly nature. little further out of patong centre but easily within walking distance. staff very friendly and helpful, rooms nice and clean, and the pool is an added bonus. good value and highly recommended

i pre booked the airport pickup and somehow something went wrong - but the owner paid the taxi, so all sweet - hotel is nice, little bit away from the center, which is good as it was nice & quiet - i had a great time and the swimming pool looked very welcoming .. 24 h shop is around the...

We found it very hospitable, the pool looked clean and the rooms equally so. Only grumble was location - a good 20-30 min walk to the beach - cheaper alternatives available.

The staff here were extremely helpful, often going well out of their way to take care of us. They were friendly and provided excellent service. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone traveling to Phuket, as you get great service and a clean place to stay for a low price. Thanks!

A very nice and peaceful place. The swimming pool was particularly interesting in the night. The owners are great people, who you can trust, and that is a big deal in Thailand! Thumbs up!!

Beautiful clean rooms for a very good price, movies in your room, hot running shower, useful information from the owners (Janes English is excellent), 15 min from beach front, good location away from the tourist hustle and bustle.

This place was great - REALLY cheap rooms that come with air-con, balcony, decent shower and 55 channel TV! An electronic safe as well. It's about 20 minute walk from Bangla Road, but if you don't mind this, I would definitely recommend it.

Thumbs up! I like Jinny very much. Great location with a peaceful enviroment. If you don't like to stay in a very busy and noisy place, Jinny is the best place for you. 5-10 mins to the beach with a bike and you can easily get food, 7-eleven, pharmacy, massage center along the along road. No complaint at all with the cleaniness and security because they will clean the room everyday for you and it is a safety box inside your room.I can even sit on the corridor and chit-chat with my friends, it is very clean all the time. Beside, you can rent the bike with a very cheap price with the small shop next to Jinny, it just cost me 150 baht for a bike per day. So, if the youngman charge you higher than this, BE SMART! get DISCOUNT from him. I will come back to Jinny again for my next visit to Phuket because this is the only guest house with CHEAP price and provide me the BEST stay in Patong.close

very helpful and coursteous staff. Distance is a bit more from the beach. But bikes arranged by the hotel for a nominal fee are very helpful to travel to the beach as well as other beaches oif phuket. Overall excellent.

A lovely pleace to stay. This is our 2nd stay here and both times we have extended our original booking. Rooms are cleaned daily and have everything you need. There is a pool and the couple that run Jinny are lovely and helpful. Id recommend this place!!

The location is a little difficult to find, maybe its just the taxi driver didnt know the area that well. The staffs are great and very helpful, the room is very clean, we like it a lot.

This hostel is about a 15 minute walk to town and the beach, but it means you can get a good nights sleep if need be. The couple who run the hostel are by far the most helpful people that i have met on my trips to Thailand. Stay here is a must for anyone worried about the security of there things...

we stayed at jinny for 12 nights after checking reviews on the more upmarket hotels in patong, jinny had the best reviews and was alao the cheapest we came came across. it was lovely, the rooms are cleaned every day and are spotless! the staff are extremly helpfull and friendly, its around a... more we stayed at jinny for 12 nights after checking reviews on the more upmarket hotels in patong, jinny had the best reviews and was alao the cheapest we came came across. it was lovely, the rooms are cleaned every day and are spotless! the staff are extremly helpfull and friendly, its around a 10-15 min walk to the beach and bangla road and the walk is very enjoyable as you pass many shops and the locals are lovely, it costs around 200 baht to get a tuk tuk to the beach which is a complete rip off so enjoy the walk instead. it cost around 500 baht to and from the airport. after staying in patong 3 times in a number of hotels a lot more expensive jinny was by far the best room we have had. every room has a balcony, we stayed on the 3rd floor and the view was amazing , you wont see much if you stay on second or 3rd floor. we hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.close

Shops are a quick walk away, beach and main area a quick ride away (easy to get a lift with the owner too/ or motorbike tazi away/ 15-20 min walk away). Owners are happy to organise transfer/ bookings etc. V helpful and friendly - would definatley return to use this as a base again!close

We had an excellent stay here, The owners supplied us with towels,Coffee etc .Also the pool area very good.The rooms are super cleaned every day.I would recommend hiring mopeds as it is about 15 mins walk to town and about 20 mins to the beach. brilliant hostel, really clean, owners really friendly and helpful, its about a 15minute walk to bangla road and the main area but sometimes the owner will run you down on his moped! booked 2 nights, stayed 5! next time in patong i know where i will stay!

Excellent place to stay if you're there for day trips out to islands and more. It is a good 20 min walk from the beach though. Very friendly manager with good info and prices on day trips. Will definitely stay there again.

jinny guesthouse is a really beautiful place tom relax and chill out,its a good 25 min walk to the main nightlife area,but i wouldnt let that stop me from staying here,owners are very helpful,and really nice and friendly.

Jinny's is a lovely little place, with a nice, clean pool. It's good value, although it is a 20 min walk to the main area of Patong. I enjoyed my stay, the staff were more than willing to help wherever they could.

The rooms were great and very clean. Despite it not being within walking distance to the beach, it was very easy to get there by tuk-tuk. The rooms were clean and we had a great time =)
