Great place with the obelisque, installed in the centre of the place, come from the ruins of the temple at Luxor. 23 meters tall, and covered with hieroglyphs, you can also drive through the place by night, and admire all the lights, it is wonderful.

A must see when in Paris, the square has alot of history around it, between the statue of King Louis that was torn down during the french revolution to the giant obelisk that now stand there. Also the square has the church of the Madeleine on it as well as the hotel de Crillon.
