"Le point ephemere"is more than a bar, it is an artistic place where you can get few drinks until late in the evening. Art is really present and the setting is often changing with exposition (painting/sculpture)

Better than describe this place you have to absolutely go in this place with his terrace close to the Seine.

Ice Kube bar is a really different place in the hotel le Kube. Indeed, erything is made with a futurist design. You will be welcomed by the staff in a cold room with a temperature of - 10 degree and an icebar. They will give you an anorak. The price is not cheap, 38€ and one vodka will be offered.

Not a local’s bar as all you will hear is English. This trendy bar even though a bit shabby is most frequently used by English Speaking students and young professionals. Good atmosphere just like in a busy Dublin pub. If you are traveling on your own and would like this to change it might be a place to meet new mates!!

Lush is a bar run by a couple of Irish people, but isn't an Irish bar if you know what I mean. It's small and intimate and staff are really friendly. Isn't that far from Montmartre so is a good place to start off the night before going somewhere a bit livelier.

La fleche d'or is a sort of club where every friday and saturday bands are playing and the best is that it is for free. There are always a lot of people and the prices are from cheap to average (4 euro for a coke is normal in Paris). You need to check it out.

Irish bar in Paris during rugby world cup weekend - what more could you want! We were there for weekend when Irl were playin France, the place was crazy, and jammers with green clad Irish supporters. So not sure what it would be like on a normal weekend. The beer is really expensive at 7 euro a pint!!! but we didnt care too much at the time. They have live music some nights, then DJs other nights. Its open til 7am at weekends, not sure during the week.

Another of the Irish bars in Paris. There seems to be couple of them but the one we were in was on Grand Boulevards. It gets a little crazy at weekends, and we were there for the Rugby World Cup game so it was extra mad! Open late like O Sullivans down the road. Theres a terrace area outside on the street to have drinks and get away from the smoke (still hard to get used to the fact that people are allowed smoke inside!). Music was a good laugh too - lots of cheesy tunes!

Irish bars are all over Paris although there is something very un-Irish about a lot of them. Across from the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Galway is an authentic Irish bar with plenty of Irish spirit and Irish staff.

For an unrivalled panaramic view of Paris, head to the bar at the Montparnasse Tower. Paris has a low skyline and the views from here are unobstructed. Sunset is a particularly beautiful time for a quiet drink or dinner, soothed by the gentle piano playing, with views out over the French capital.

Restuarant / bar in La Bastille. Always popular. Tough door policy - best having women in tow with you, if you can.

Raucous dingy studenty bar in Paris. Can be difficult to find. Its officially a Dutch bar. Fills up at weekends - students looking for cheap pints (by Paris standards). Don't go expecting chic Paris though!

Decent irish pub, not too Irish, in a great area of Paris. Nice crowd, not too busy, attracts Parisian locals and expats alike. Gets very busy for Ireland matches. As the vast majority of bars in Paris, its expensive.

Was an ace bar in the early 90s, a real popular hangout with expats living in Paris. Seemed to have gone downhill since it was renamed as House of Live. Still does a ace Happy Hour (5pm-8pm Mon - Fri), great cocktails, food is ok (American type) and its located just off the Champs Elysees. I still go there every time I'm in Paris, but maybe that's just a nostalgia thing! The nights of dancing on the bar seem to be a thing of the past!

Been there a few times and really like it! The small Irish pub is located at Place de Bastille, and therefore has a good view from outside the bar. Not a big place, but really cozy and with good Irish beer.

Nothing to write home about - a typical overpriced Irish bar in Paris. Full of tourists, wealthy expats and corporate white collar rugby types from South Dublin who have arrived in for the Six Nations and the like with wallets to empty. Far more "authentic" (!) Irish bars - where the Parisian Irish go to meet up.
