Paris is a smashing city with more to do than most.
It\'s an easy city to get around with a vast Metro underground train system and bus network.
I would recommend saving your euros for a trip to Paris as most day-to-day things can be costly.
The restaurants and shopping is at very lease the best in the world.
This city would be at least in my personal top 3 city list. |

Unfortunately, there was a strike going on while we were there and the weater was poor, so we were walking everywhere in the cold weather. |

French people are at not helpful ... they dont want to speak english .. i was really suprised that even in lovre museum ( a major tourist attarction)..there was not even a single item besides which there was an explaination in english .. all in FRENCH ..
not even near mona lisa painting.
The language barrier is the biggest HURDLE. I have been to many places but never experienced any thing of tis kind.
after paris .. I am in BARCELONA .. i must admit that people here in spain are very warm and welcome u in all ways ...they even speak english ... unlike FRENCH !!!!!!!

If you want to go to Paris, choose the Summer. During the winter, it\'s too cold, but Paris is wonderful! |

Transport strikes in Paris really frustrating! |
|
|
 |
There was a transportation strike when I stayed in Paris, but I heard from the people who worked at the hostel that Paris has one of the best public transportation systems in the world. Even though the metro was not working to \"full capacity\", it was still easy to get around. |

Paris is Paris, there\'s not much else to stay. If you haven\'t gone, you should go. If you have, you should come back. Even with the metro strike, my trip was awesome because there\'s no better way to see Paris then by foot. Eat, shop, soak in some culture. Good times. |

Paris rules!!!!!! It is the greatest city that i have ever visited and it is as beatiful as what people say.The only trouble is a lot of people don\'t speak English though. |

Beautiful city, every street is a open monument. You enjoy very much to walk around Saint germain, saint michel, Saint Louis, Saint Paul, Latin etc. Nightlife is good and public transports are very convenient. |

full of art, culture and history...pity for the very expensive cafe\'...we paid a beer 8 euro and it wasn\'t even good, only because you could see the top of the tour eiffel from the cafe... |

I don\'t know about shopping or eating out as I didn\'t do it. I left average weather because it was colder there than in London.....lol |

Paris is one of the world\'s most amazing cities (like we didn\'t already know this). If you\'re making plans to go though, I wouldn\'t go after October and during the winter. Bad weather really does put a damper on things, there\'s so many beautiful outdoors activities to enjoy which become impossible in winter ie, the amazing gardens all over Paris, and even the gardens of Versailles aren\'t the same in winter... plus you don\'t get to sit outside Parisian cafes and people watch. I thought there would be less tourists in November but there seemed to be more in fact! |

Obviously, there\'s is tons of tourist stuff to see in Paris, but there\'s also a bunch of lesser attended attractions that are great. Plus, so much amazing food! |

What a terrible hostel... the toilets are disgusting, the rooms were smelling like sewers and on top of that I had to pay for the linen... terrible. the reception staff is not very helpful as well... very lazy and not really willing to help...
only the breakfast was top-rated... really nice |

One of the most diverse and beautiful cities I\'ve ever visited. Am truly in love! Don\'t know where Parisians got the reputation of being rude. Did not have one bad experience (and I don\'t speak French). Everyone we encountered on our trip were very helpful and nice! |

Paris is has everything from museums, wonderful food, beautiful men, art, culture. French food is the best and anything the French touch is gold. Only down side to Paris is everything is expensive. |

don\'t waste your money here |

Was only here for three nights, and due to the fact I was partying pretty hard didn\'t spend too much time sightseeing. Disneyland was great, compared to LA and Tokyo I felt like it was a lot less busy. Didn\'t enjoy the Louvre quite so much as I expected, but the Eiffel Tower blew me away |

I went to Paris on the 26th Dec and stayed for 2 nights with my boyfriend...it was really great time for us...as we were told Paris is really wonderfull place with loads to see...loads to enjoy...romantic, unforgetable place...We did not see everything we wanted...2 days is not enough...but we hope to return there sometimes in summer when all the gardens are full of flowers and you can enjoy the sun and everything you cannot in winter...We love Paris!!!...Daniela and Robert |

this city is full of a diverse group of ppl... just like any other big city in the world... london, la, new york, chicago.... i expected a little bit more... but still was able to walk around everywhere to see everything... eiffle tower, the louvre (mona lisa!! whoa!), notre dame cathedral |

Be ready to spend money here - the tourism trade is rather brutal. A very pretty city over-all though if you\'re getting a little sick of sight-seeing as we were there\'s not all that much else readily and affordably available to do. |

It\'s expensive to stay in Paris, so plan ahead when it comes to food and accommodation. |

This is my evaluation of the Hotel Notre Dame, not of Paris. |

LOVE IT! Great for sightseeing, get a daily Metro ticket and you can really see so much. It was fantastic. Moulin Rouge is so expensive, but try catching the 11pm show, it's great. Was quite expensive but seemed cheap after Ireland! Great for cheap souvenir shopping in the Montmartre area and on the street up to Sacre Coeur. So much to see, it's lovely. |

Great hotel to stay - rooms are OK, price low and the lady of the reception Marie- Hélène is very firendly and helpful. |

Every thing is ok, We did feel like in a small home.

Very nice - i come back again. |

Hey, it\'s Paris, you\'ve got to go at least once, but it\'s really not that great. Doesn\'t live up to the hype. |

Everyone here was extremely nice and the hostel is in a great area for little bars and cafes but a bit out of the way from the main tourist attractions |

For me, Paris is over-rated. IT has very good art museums - but at the end of the day, they could have been anywhere. Once you\'ve seen the main sights, there\'s not much left to do. Montmarte and the Latin quarters are the only places to spend a prolonged amount of time - just wander through the backstreets. |

Fantastic! couldnt ask for a better place to saty! manager in a dublin hostel and St Christophers is in a different league! fabulous staff too!definetely recommend it to anyone spending a few days in paris! |

 |
the breakfast was ok and the rooms were nice but the best part is that it\'s easy to meet people and it\'s in a great locations |

I loved the Latin District and Les Halles in the evening.. |

Everything in Paris is ridiculously expensive, but the city itself is great.
Metro services run every few minutes throughout the city, so catching the train is easy. |
|

 |
the hotel is quite good: clean, quite and in the safe place. the staff is quite nice and you can ask them travelling information. But it is situated in a quite place and no activities to get around. So, care about the last train to back to the hotel. |

What is there to say but, Paris is Paris and the Grand Boulevards are breathtaking. Do stop in at boulangeries/patisseries and mange on some pain au chocolat and baguettes. Even though they will probably speak English, get a phrasebook and TRY to speak a little french to your waiters and people at desks. Don't be that guy. The best places are a little ways away from the tourist attractions where Parisians actually live and the menus outside the restaurants are NOT IN ENGLISH!!! If they are you haven't gone far enough. Walk down random streets that look cool and get a little lost but don't look like you're lost. |

Paris is a stunning city, but it comes at a price! even a beer will set you back best part of 8 euros! i looked everywhere and even your dingy back alley bars were expensive! Shame it could be an amazing place! |

More than enough to do in a weekend. Must go to the top of the eiffel tower, see Nortre Dame, the Arc de Triomphe and the Louvre (Mona Lisa) . Food and drink can be expensive (£1.40 for can of fizzy). |

The nices hostel I have ever stayed with, it is brand new. Very modern design lots of nice things like good internet, privacy curtain, your own plug in to charge your phone etc. Big rooms with chairs and a table. Breakfast was good too. |

People often say that Paris is nice, beautiful and romantic. I disagree. There are places to visit like the Eiffel tower, arc d triomphe, the notre dame cathedral and the louvre. BUT Paris is NOT nice or beautiful and definitely not romantic. Its dirty and crowded. I was walking along the streets and can see people pissing at the sides. There is graffiti everywhere too. Really disappointing, considering what high expectations I had for Paris. |

what i can say about the agil hotel is my experience wasnt good at all .After looking for the hotel for close to 2 hours , we were informed that there werent any rooms available inspite of a confirmed booking .
later also discovered that they had deducted one nights charges from the card and now inspite of repeated follow ups with them for refund there hasnt been any response from their end .
All in all not a place to be recommended .

Paris is over priced and annoying, but still somehow magical. Plan a few days there and soak it all up, but in my opinion that\'s enough to hold you over for a lifetime. Or, on your next trip back, try something different and venture out a bit further to Versailles, Normandy, etc. |

Paris is awesome- but don\'t miss a trip outside the city to the Chateau Versailles. It\'s beautiful. Only wish they had more furniture in the rooms- however, the amazing walls, ceilings and hall of mirrors makes up for the lack of furnishing. |
|
|
 |
There is no kitchen (well there is but it is only to be used for breakfast), no common room (unless you count the chairs at the reception). No Hot water (not once in 5 days have i had a hot shower). No cooling for the room, bring your earplugs and open a window. No age restrictions on people staying, had to share with a 55 year old mother and daughter - NO ONE wants to go to a hostel to hang out with mature age people! |

Paris is amazing. The famous monuments were even more impressive in person. We ran into markets and festivals everywhere that offered interesting goods for reasonable prices. We stayed in a suburb south of the city, but it wasn\'t a problem thanks to the great metro. Buy day-passes and you\'ll have freedom over the entire city (and Versailles). |

this hostel is awesome period. it is the best one in paris to meet some kickin folks. also, the hostel rooms and beds are very comfortable. the showers are very clean and the staff is willing to help you with problems. breakfast sucks though as it does in every hostel |
