There are only a few places in the city that do the flaming anything anymore. they have a large section of the menu devoted to french My grilled meal was ok, my starter included Salmon and basil carpaccio . It was great, because I got a good sampling of the menu. Everything was amazing, pretty good and nothing disgusting. L'Auberge will continue to be a popular restaurant in Paris, Montparnasse. They have plenty of safe, french dishes.close

We even found ourselves feasting on the fresh and delicious. It's hard to justify the price, but considering the inputs, the price seemed about right. The service was well-timed and thoughtful. While we sat inside, it was a perfect night, and we should have taken advantage of their spacious patio seating.close

But in the end it is all worth it, because you are after all waiting for some of the best grilled food. The appetizer was very good, fried, warm, creamy and tasty, with a great dipping sauce. the grilled meal was amazing, a wonderful flavors. The dessert was a perfect ending to a great meal. so, If you like grilled meal go to L'Auberge, heck even if you don't like grilled food, L'Auberge might change your mind.close

Some have good food, some good service, some good wines! Never have we been to a place theat EXCELS in good staff, food, wines, atmosphere & music. Everything was perfect. It truly made for a night we will never forget. The grilled meat was really tasty and fresh. Overall the food was good. The service was fast and attentive, very very good. We will definitely return again and again. Other than that it was the perfect night!close

Although I'm not one to give perfect scores easily, I can't really fault this experience. We had the appetizer, it was delicious. I ordered the Tenderloin steak. My partner had the grilled meal & loved it. Had a Vanilla meringue custard slice and the Wild cherries and vanilla for dessert. I tell you I'm the harshest critic in the world and I couldn't find fault with anything. Go you'll love it! I hear dinners are even better, more expansive menu & more desserts to choose from. We'll be going back one evening for sure. Although there are some restaurants I've eaten at in montparnasse that may be on par food-wise, none occupy the 'fine contemporary dining' niche that L'Auberge has. Well worth the expense.close

L'Auberge is the best restaurant in montparnasse within this price range. The menu follows a classic grilled meal. The menu varies through the year, but i go for the grilled course, Although a whole meal is way more than I should be eating in one sitting, it's difficult to bypass one of Tony's cookies or squares. I could, though, always get one to eat later.... The wine list is staggering. It's not cheap by any means but dinner here will impress and delight any partner. Pamper yourself and your date in this romantic and exclusive corner of Paris.close
