I discovered this little local restaurant about ten years ago and ever since then I've made a point of going back every time I'm in Paris. The owner is a little lady as large as she is tall, called Ginette. She's quite a character to say the least. The owner is a little lady as large as she is tall, called Ginette. She's quite a character to say the least. Her food is honest, traditional French cooking. The place is often full of Americans - it seems to be known in some guidebooks. I particularly like her starter of chicken livers with a raspberry vinaigrette and her main meat dishes too are excellent. Only the best of ingredients - and it shows. The restaurant is also famous for its clafoutis - a kind of dessert and I can vouch for how good it is! The one downside is the price - it has got relatively expensive in the last few years.close
