Elegant decor but only room for a few tables outside in good weather, which is a pity. The chef is a young man from Normandy and his food is highly accomplished, traditional French with a twist. Well worth going to! I booked Le Reminet this weekend (21 July), turned up looking forward to a lovely meal and was quite disappointed to hear from the waiter that the chef had left last September... I feared the worst, but I needn't have. Le Reminet's new chef is equally gifted and we had a really lovely meal. It wasn't the cheapest meal I've ever had but it was excellent. Still highly recommended!close

   Wonderful trendy and bohemian restaurant and bar in the 18th, not far from metro Lamarck/Caulaincourt (Line 12). Not too big, friendly and efficient staff, tables outside so lovely when the sun is shining. This is a perfect place for a Sunday brunch or just lunch any day...

We couldn't resist trying it and we hit on a gem: the food is traditional French but cooked... more I was wandering around Montmartre one lunchtime with a friend, looking for a restaurant that didn't seem too touristy and somehow or other we ended up in the rue Lamarck and found this little restaurant. We couldn't resist trying it and we hit on a gem: the food is traditional French but cooked to perfection - the roast lamb was delicious and the signature dish is an excellent cassoulet. Hearty desserts too. The décor is a little old fashioned but pleasant. The waitress was very friendly and there was a lovely atmosphere too because the restaurant was full of regular customers who chatted happily to each other (and to us!).close

It's also "casual dining", so no jackets here. This can be an issue in Paris, where jackets are often required for anything decent. Only flaw was the cigar smoking nearby, and altho' the French are soon to ban smoking in workplace, given that this is "outside", it may not apply. They sell some pretty decent cigars tho', so if you can't beat 'em... Decor was nice. It would make me want to come back to the hotel, although I'm always fearful of boutique hotels in places like Paris... rooms don't come with cats for swinging.close

    If you like set menu with wine and meat with proper french fries, that the place to go, only problems always a queue be there at 12H and no problems. The waitress are all with the french traditionnal clothes. The address is next to Goerge Restaurant or behind the RER, Corner Restaurant.

    Best meal I have ever had, in a great bistro restaurant near Notre Dame. Lovely atmosphere. You have to book in advance though.
