For those looking for fun, better stay in south Paris. Would stay again.close

We had a very nice stay. Conveniently located, small but clean with very friendly and helpful staff. Pure luxury for backpackers and still decent for common travellers. Great price for value. Only the choice for the included breakfast could be a little better.

From the picture I got while checking in (the front desk looks clean, modern and recently renovated), I got dissapointed when I saw the room, which was rather small and not very clean. It seems that europeans just do not understand that a normal human being requires a minimum of space to take a shower! The shower is so small! The breakfast and location (quite near the train station) are good. Most likely I would come back to this hotel.close

Breakfast was delicious every morning, as we have heard from others who have stayed there. The staff was always very helpful and friendly. Our stay was very enjoyable, and when I come to Paris again, I would choose Prelude again to stay at.

But afterall, it's only 2 minutes walk from the metro station Anvers, and 7 minutes walk from the big Gare du Nord station. That's pretty convenient. The shower place was super tiny! Yet basically you get everything you need inside the hotel room (there was a kettle for boiling water for drinking). The staff was helpful and good at English speaking.close

We were only staying here for one night and it was fine for that- great location, handy for the tube. If you were staying longer than the room may have been a little on the small side, and I didn't feel it was the cleanest hostel I have ever stayed in.

The hotel was ok. I don't think we got what we paid for. The room was in a little disrepair. The carpets were stained/bleached out at the corners and the paint in the shower stall was peeling. The room was really tiny too. The room was clean and breakfast was great though.

Close to Paris Nord. I would have assumed this place was 3 stars from the outside and downstairs lounge area, but the rooms were not as nice. They were small but clean and this is a decent 2 star hotel/hostel. All you can eat breakfast was really nice.

good points: close to Gare du Nord, Sacre Coeur, staff was helpful and friendly, especially this female concierge. good continental breakfast included. bad points: tiny shower that made water go everywhere and smelled musty. not in the best neighborhood.

Hotel is very fine. I recommend it. There are only few drawbacks for example not thick walls - you can hear something from the neigbouring room, but on the the hand it is probalbly true for all Paris hotels of this class. I had the same problem in the other Paris hotel.
