I found this hotel excellent in everything except the cleanliness. The hotel room was stuffy with cigarette smoke and was difficult to sleep in. Other than that the staff were really friendly and co-operative.

Spent six nights here. The room was tiny, but we only really needed a place to lay our head each night. Staff were extremely helpful, breakfast, whilst it was the same each morning, we looked forward to the croissant each day! Staff ensured that the highest standards were observed. We didn't have a shower or toilet in our room, but there are toilets on each level and each morning we had to get the key for the shower on the first floor. Whilst this was an effort, we got used to it. Not the place if you want to meet other travellers, but the standard and service of the hotel was pretty good, so our stay was much enjoyed! Value for money! Close to the metro and cafes. Would definately stay here again! Thankyou Liberty Hotel!close

An ok place to stay, close to metro station. If you get a room with out a toilet and shower then be prepared to walk down the hall to the toilet and to get access to the shower on level 1, you have to get the key from reception on ground floor. not the best if you are staying on level 4. no...

Very good located, next to Gare de l'Est. Quiet street, by the Police Station. Fairly clean, though a bit old and neglected. Fine to shower and sleep. Good breakfast.

Great staff! They let us leave our huge bags there for two nights after we checked out to go to another town in Paris then came back for two more nights and the staff were happy to help, basic rooms, clean enough, good breakfest, staff were so great...thanks guys!!

Hotel is conveniently located right near Gare d'lest, which gives you very good access to the subway to get anywhere in the city. If you are planning on enjoying Paris and not sitting in a hotel all day, it is a good place.

I liked this hotel near Gare de L'est.The staff were friendly helpful and professional.I got a room without the bathroom and had to get a key to use the shower..I had to dress again after the shower to take the key back.I'd stay there again but get the ensuite room.

It was a bit annoying that there is no shower on the 4th floor, I think the rooms without private bathroom (I mean those who do not have a toillet and shower) shouldn't cost as much as the rooms with private shower and toillet (as my friends had who slept at a room on first floor) Otherwise...

Good cheap budget hotel accommodation. An easy walk to the metro. Breakfast was good, staff were nice, security was solid, however I would not stay in this area again - there was no night life.

Place OK when you only want to stay for the nights. Clean, simple rooms.No elevators, it's a problem when you have heavy suitcase.Delicious breakfast with exellant croissant and coffe. Very nice stuff.Metro nearby.

It was a little hard to find but once found, it was easy to go everywhere because it's close to some of the main stations. The staff was really great and helpful. The breakfast was also good. The only bad point was the cleanliness.. we found some weird hair on our sheets. Anyway, I'd come back!

Very nice staff, reasonable price (with breakfast included :) and great location, if you travel by Eurostar - you can't ask for more :) We really liked it and will stay there again for sure

Sehr nettes Pariser Hotel mit engagiertem Personal. Zentral gelegen, vom Gare de l'est zu Fuß in 4 Min erreichbar. Gute Anbindungen mit Metro oder Bus. Aber auch zu Fuß sind Sehenswürdigkeiten wie Notre Dame, Seine, Centre Pompidou,... sehr leicht zu erreichen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl...

A little hard to find (it is off Rue Magenta), but close to the metro and easy access on metro to all sights. Lovely helpful staff, great breakfast. Clean rooms, felt safe.

Room was cleaned every day. Staff is very kind. Location is ok, but it seems not to be Paris' best area. There is a police station next door. A good Hotel very low budget travelling.

it's a great little place but the only problem was the noise from guests coming in very late and banging doors, rattling keys and talking in corridors. The rooms are not very sound proof so take ear plugs.

Good location near to Gare D'est and Gare du Nord. Pretty dated and shabby in the rooms and bathrooms. Dining area was fine though, good breakfast and helpful staff.

We enjoyed our stay here and felt it was in a safe location comfy bed and private bathroom, helpful and friendly staff with 24hr reception, we found the closest metro station to be jaques bonsergent and make sure you pick up a map for the metro stops. we would reccomend this hostel

The one pillow on the double bed wasn't great, but the staff was so helpful and kind, the breakfast was perfect, and the location made it easy to connect on the Metro or walk to the center.
