This is actually in Zone 4, which means it is in the farthest suburb in northern Paris. This means you have to take a bus to the RER to actually get into Paris, which takes about an hour. Maybe a good deal if you have multiple people, but not for the backpacking crowd. It's got private bathrooms...

If you're looking for a decent priced place, stay here....it is a bit outta the way, but WAY cheaper than staying right in Paris....Plus the front desk manager is the nicest guy!! He knows Paris well, and can help get you anywhere you want to go.

The hotel was very good in terms of accommodations however it is quite far from the city, on the RER line rather than the regular metro. It costs about 3-4 euros each way and takes about 20 mins. The staff was very nice and the rooms were comfortable.

The man at the front desk was really nice! We enjoyed our stay, the only thing we would have liked different was the walk there. Walking home late at night wasn't fun.

I only have 2 recommendations if you're going to stay here. 1) The directions say that it's easy to walk from the train station to the hostel. It isn't if you have luggage of any kind. Take the bus. 2) The bus is also the easiest way to connect to the metro network, rather than the RER, as the stop is very close to the hostel. Thanks to the staff there, we had a fantastic time. Amazing value for money.close

Be prepared to travel when you get into Paris, as Fasthome is atleast 20 minute train ride on the RER, and another 8 minute bus ride once you arrive at the villiers-la-bel train station. But it was so refreshing to be in a calm and friendly part of France. The staff was beyond helpful and we...

The room had not been vacuumed in ages, there was no shower curtain, reddish/yellow stain on the sheets. Glad to be out of there the next morning.close

The hostel was far from the city centre, but it was very simple to reach any destination. The staff is what made the hostel great. VERY helpful and went out of their way to help us find transportation to the airport. Cheap, not the cleanest, but fine for the price.

We chose to stay here for the price and location to the airport (compromising location and a hostel environment).. but it's not a trade-off we'd make again. The place is a throwback to the eighties and the metro ride to the airport still wound up being 10 euros each. Yick.

Overall a nice budget hotel. The location was inconvenient and in an area where I would choose not to walk around at night. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were decent and clean for what I paid for.

Great place to stay FOR SURE!, however, it's just a great place. The location sucks, I would recommend a place in/close to the city. A one way ticket from the hostel to the city costs 3.50 euro, so it is a lot more convenient/cheaper to stay in a place in/close to the city. (Otherwise FANTASTIC...

The staff were absolutley fabulous. Not only did they speak great english, but they INSISTED on showing us maps and helping us find our way around. Easy to find, shopping complex next door. 5 minutes from station into paris central, an easy walk. The rooms were great too, basic but clean.

To get here you have to take about a 20 minute subway ride and then walk for about a mile (unless you're lucky enough to catch a bus), but it's worth it. The price is great. The room was very clean. I felt safe the whole time. I would definitely recommend it.
