Great for what you pay for, amazing location, close to the large 'must sees' and surrounded by bars and restaurants. The tube is just 2 minutes away. The room was large and clean and was very cheap between two.

Great place to stay in Paris. Everything was awesome except the fact you had to go to the bottom floor to use the showers, and they cost 2 Euro a day to use (they dont tell you that). The other thing is that is was very noisy - street noise isnt a problem but you hear everything in the rooms...

Nice and authentic hostel with excellent location. Only bad thing was that you have to pay 2 euros if you want to go to the shower. But I don´t complain about that because it´s still a cheapest hostel with that location.

But there are severe problems with security issues. First, the locks on the doors are unreliable. Secondly, you are supposed to leave your key hanging on a reception wall when you go out, but there is no control over who takes whose keys when people come into the hotel. In theory then, anybody could come in and take the key to your room. Also the walls were made of paper..Nevertheless, I definitely recommend the hotel!close

the staff was especially kind and helpful. The yellow paint in our room cut down on the character. For security, it was a little strange for the keys to be so close to the entrance where anyone could grab them so easily.

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. There was a sewer smell in the room coming from the washbasin. 2 euros per a shower. Not very comfortable mattress. Berable for a short stay because of the great location.

In spite of writing the hostel the day before, we were charged for the room, which is understandable. However, it took 30 minutes for the front desk clerk (or the cleaning crew) to let us into our room, claiming he was protecting the guests from the noise we could make as we moved in. We continue to be puzzled by this policy.close
