Showers are charged extra. The room was clean and pretty quite although it was facing the street. The hotel is nothing to write home about but it has everything you need for a short stay. No problems of any sort.

You can get to the nearest station, Port Royal directly from CDG. Monparnasse is also near to the hostel. Bakeries, restaurants, and grocery stores are within easy access. Staffs are friendly.

Also, I'd recommend bringing a pillow (and earplugs if you have difficulty sleeping with noise). 5 minutes to the RER train, 10 to the Metro, 20 to the Notre Dame so location wise..excellent! If you're traveling on a budget: this is great place to stay!close

If you are reading this now, please find a new hostel... Beds DO NOT come with pillow cases, showers are 2.50 extra per shower, very dirty place... We stayed one night, then had to find a new hostel... Really really bad.

We had to pay 2.50 Euro for the shower and it was mouldy. The toilet was in a different room from ours and the shower in another room.

Since you have private rooms, you can just leave your things in your room and not worry about it. The hot water and the cleanliness of the showers was inconsistent. The rooms were nice enough, and the location was good.

Basically a solid 1-star hotel, (not a place for meeting other travelers). Not very clean with a communal toilet and shower and the room was loud from street noise, but for the amazingly cheap price its hard to complain. Fantastic location right in the Latin Quarter.

First off, we were put int he wrong room when we arrived. It happened to be a room with a bathroom inside, so we figured we had lucked out. However, that evening, after just having showered, people came into our room as they were also given a room key. We were moved, and yes, the bathroom facilities outside of the rooms are not so nice, the light in the bathroom does work, but only after locking it, which doesnt really help in the middle of the night. The rooms are incredibly hot if the windows arent open, and the windows are like paper thin; you can hear everything going on outside like garbage trucks, cars, buses, etc. its also quite a trek to any of the metro lines. I would not recommend this hostel to anyone. Also, they restrict internet access on their laptop to 15 minutes, a bit rude if u ask me.close

We were greeted with peeling wallpaper, dark corridors, stinky pillows and faulty bedside lights. To make things worse, we had to pay €2.5 per bath which had no sink and was very dirty. Even more strange, the common toilet had NO SINK. How is one going to wash his hands after using? Also, we were bitten by bed bugs. Overall, very poor hygiene. We will never stay here again, despite the somewhat low price.close
