Great hotel and adorable room. Staff was a little out of it and not very helpful with questions.

We stipulated parking on our initial search and there is none! Also they should invest in double glazing, it's a bit noisy if your round the front.

Place is centrally located. The room size is small and elevator was even smaller. Good Value for the money in Paris...

I was truthful on all multiple choice questions. The room was small, but most European rooms seem to be so. It was very clean, quiet guests and a quiet street but close to lots of shops, restaurants and sights to see. Great staff, very nice and helpful.

I was very disappointed to find that I was charged an extra 16 Euros for breakfast, which only consisted of croissants, cheese, and orange juice. According to the description on Hostelworld.com, "We [Villa des Princes] even supply a FREE breakfast for people booking online." However, according to the staff, it only applies to the non-peak season and that the problem lies with Hostelworld.com. I am disappointed because if I had known they charged at much as they did for such a breakfast, we wouldn't have eaten there. This was not the way we wanted to leave Paris.close

Although the rooms were small it really bought an atmosphere to the place. I really enjoyed my stay there and found the staff very helpful. I would reccomend this place to anyone staying in Paris as it is close to everything and you can pretty much walk everywhere and have everything you need...

The room size was quite compact, we had a triple room and very large suitcases! The suitcases didn't even fit in the tiny elevator all together!

Excellent location and great, friendly service. Would definitely stay again. Rooms are a little small but for the price and location it can not be beat.

The staff, room, location, and security was wonderful. The room was cleaned every day, and we had our own bathroom with a great shower and lots of hot water. We had a great time in Paris thanks to the staff! They were outstanding. Highly recommend!

This was a hotel, not a hostel. The room was very small. I asked for two beds and they had separate sheets but were connected like one king-sized bed. I chose this hotel for location and that was good, being close to Notre Dame and the Louvre and Orsay Museums.

If I ever get back to Paris I would definitely stay there again. (By the way we stayed at Jubilee Court in London (Bayswater) as well - no comparison - the building was of a similar era and could have had character too but was really, really grotty, dirty and very unhelpful staff. My niece booked it and we have already sent a scathing review on it through this system.) However, I cannot rave about Hotel des Ecoles too much and would heartily recommend it!!!!! A great find!!!!!! It renewed my faith in your booking system!close
