Cheap and good location. Staff were ok but it was hard to get them to serve you in the evenings as they joined in the parties. Meaning if you wanted your key back or a drink you had to wait a while.

Overall fairly average really. tiny (i mean TINY!) rooms, loads of steps up to room on 7th floor, good location - close to metro station, great bar downstairs, let us store our luggage after we checked out.

The rooms were a bit small and there were a lot of stairs to climb. But we didn't mind at all and if you don't, the place is totally worth it!

I arrived there at 9pm and the guy from the recption told me the hostel was full and that my booking was for 11am. But actually, I had changed the arrival time for 8pm two days before go there. I changed this in the hostelworld website. So, I couldn't stay there and needed to look for another...

I liked this hostel very much. There were three of us and we got put together in a room so we had no problems with security but since there is only one key per room and no lockers, with randoms it could be a problem. The rumour about the stairs is true, there is a lot. Close to metro and Gare de...

Loved our stay at peace and love. Yes there are a heap of stairs, yes the rooms aren't the biggest. But they are good with security, have big lockers and the kitchen facilities are great as its expensive to eat out in the area. Also have one of the best bar tenders in Paris. Good work Jay!

Only having one key per room was a little bit of a pain, especially when roommates forget to turn in the key to the staff. The rooms were clean, showers were tiny, and bathrooms were nasty. The staff was very nice though, and I didn't hear the music from the bar since I was on one of the top floors. I think it's a good hostel to stay if you're only in Paris for a couple days.close

Brilliant. Staff are hilarious - literally fun from the moment you walk in the door to when they wave goodbye. Amazing hosts, make you feel like you are their best friend. A short walk from Gare Du Nord, so perfect for us. Go!

DO NOT COME HERE if you want to rest after a day discovering Paris. The Hostel is way too loud, loud drunk people in it screaming all night long, near a fire station too... you can find better places in Paris. This is not suggested. Moreover the ENSUITE room has no toilet in it... BAD

Paris Peace & Love Hostel is a very fun Hostel. Not the cleanest and quite, but very fun for the backpacker looking for a good time. I put in some ear plugs when I went to bed and had no problem sleeping. Be careful if you book a "Private Bathroom" as it only has a private shower,...

The staff was pretty unfriendly, but it's nice to have a place right at Juares - pretty easy to get around if you're into the metro. They tried really hard to make it fun too but the crowd there when I was there was not the best.

Ideal location for catching the Metro to any point in Paris. Good when you are only sleeping there, bit of Parisian ghetto with Sex shops all around but all in all a cool place.

I had a real good time at the hostel. The staff was the nicest of any hostel I've ever stayed at! The bar is real cheap, and was a nice place to chill. Only complaint was nearness to police and fire station, but i still slept great.
