The staff was really nice to us. The rooms were clean and bright. It was right off the metro. A nice old men fed us with bread and cheese. I enjoyed it immensely. Would go again.

well.. its a really nice dodgy place.. to be honest. and the free breakie is a greasy packaged crossant from a vending machine.. but still nice place

it's close to the metro, however it's not the nicest looking place, but it was fairly decent for one traveler like myself

The location was absolutely the best - right by Gare de Lyon which is right on M1 (one of the main lines).. literally a 30 second walk away from it. the "ensuite" is actually only a sink in the room, and there's only 1 toilet and 1 shower per floor. on the website, it said that linen was provided, but in fact you have to pay for it. The breakfast was out of a vending machine - it wasn't bad, but not great.

i think that 3 euros to rent sheets is ridiculous. plus my room had a shower but no shower curtain so i think i would just be easier for u to buy a shower curtain than to have to mop the bathroom floor every morning.

the Hostel Blue Planet is he worst of all hostels of the world !!!!!! very dirty ! the staff guy are very umpleasant !!!!! Don't go there !!!!!!!!! horrible , awful !!!!!!!

The hostel wasn't all that bad, but the one key per dorm room thing drove me crazy! (I was staying with strangers, as you usually do in dorms!)

there is only one key per room, so if you're sleeping and s/one needs to get in: they'll knock. Internet is insanely expensive. However, if you have a laptop, the bar at the corner has free wireless, though you have to drink something. Discusting, rude, decieving, worst hostel ever. ensiut= every1 shares same toilet and shower. toilet is covered in mud and tissue. shower dicusting. staff rude. Dont go!

It´s absolutely bad, to habe only one key for Rooms with 3-4 People! I cannot sleep till the others are in, to hear their knocking on the door. And the "Beep" of the keylocking it´s too loud. Blue Planet Hostel is excellent. We would definitely recommend it as a Paris stop. The facilities are immaculate and comfortable. Staff is particularly helpful and the location for convenience to any form of transportation (bus metro train taxi) can't be beat.

Please guys dont go to this hotel it is one of the worst hotel ever, we lose our deposit because we left runing the hotel it is awful stinky and dangerous ask for more information Paris deserved something better

The no drinking policy for the outside area is, quite frankly, rediculous! The lack of WiFi was also most annoying and clearly a money making gimick as payed net access was available. The lack of washing basins in the bathrooms was shockingly inconvenient.

It has been the worst hostel in my trip. it is old, there is only one key for everyone in the room, the showers are disgusting, you need to be out of the room from 11 to 3 pm and there is not comftable seats at the hostel.

The place is well located but is not in good conditions, the bathrooms are a mess and if you book a room with a shower inside the most probable is that it wont work. The staff is not nice at all and they expect you to leave your room before 9. Yeah this place sucked. I was supposed to be in a three bed room but instead was in a three bed but one of the beds was a bunk bed with a pull out underneath...and guess who slept on that? i reserveted room for 3 beds, and end up in a room for 5. it sux not to be able to be in your room whenever you want - cause of the cleaning and the first day you have to wait to get your room. breakfast was food from a machine, which also sucked.i didn't excpect fancy treathment like in a hotel,...
