location is pretty good. Rooms were bit small and smelt a bit mouldy. Laundromat next door and shops across the street, ok place for what and where it is.

very rickety place with dinghy rooms and horrible bed linen,specialy the blankets were so dirty and in rags, beds too small and uncomfortable and room too small:::dont know how it got a 72% rating . Had I known, would have never stayed there

The hostel location is nearby the metro station, bring alot convenience for us to travel around. Staffs are nice, willing to help. If you need to get a taxi transfer to airport, you can ask for their help. The only disadvantage is the room is quite small, anyway, it a good hostel to stay.

Located right at the end of Canal St Martin, and a 5 minute walk from the metro, it is so easy to get anywhere. The staff was great. I would stay here again.

I arrived around midnight and there was someone there to check me in and answer all my questions happily. The breakfast was really nice and I got a real cup of coffee. The internet was free. Friendly, multilingual staff, comfortable beds, flyers, maps, computers with free internet, quite central and close to many metro stations aswell as the train station Paris Est. Seriously needs renovation! blankets with holes, hair-dryer torn to pieces, breakfast area very tiny.

I had a very good time. I cannot judge SEcurity as I don't know on what I should benchmark or evaluate it. I also don't understand Character. For the future you should explain what that means. Keep up the good work! :-)

The hotel gives a poor first impression at the beginning but at the end is kind of cousy, I really hoped more of the hostel based on their price. Finally the stairs carpeting could be seriosly improved, it looks like as if it hasn't been clean in years.

They think that a double bed is two hagged ass single beds pushed together. The receptionist informed me that 3 rooms have actual doubles and that 3 rooms have two singles pushed together. Disgraceful.

The girl at the reception was very nice, friendly and willing to look after my backpack (because they don`t have any special lockers for the luggage if you come their earlier - before you can get into a room). Free internet and breakfast!

When we checked in we were given the keys to two private rooms that already had people in them and the same happened to us in our own room on two occasions with strangers walking in which was quite off putting. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Right by the republique metro, me and a friend stayed in a room of 4 with two other girls and we had our own shower, it was a clean and tidy hostel, really nice free breakfast, friendly staff, free internet (allbeit there were only 3 computers). couldnt say anything negative about this hostel and...

this hostel/hotel is a way too expensive for what it is! breakfast is horrible, waitres were nasty and the rooms are not so clean. and u have to do your bed when u arrive with very old nylon blankets! (and beds are not confortables at all!)

the train station is a short walk away and has lots of train lines going through it, so its pretty easy to get anywhere. breakfast was nice and the staff were helpful

There was this one guy who work at night and he lost somebody's luggage cause he wasn't keeping an eye on it. He kept smoking outside and drinking beer at night. And when I went down stairs one early morning I even caught him sleeping.

great spot, nice safe area. we had a good oom, bt apparently some are pretty small. Not much of a kitchen but there is a supermarket and cheap places to eat across the road, and a launromat next door. I'd stay here again..
