for one of the cheapest hostels in paris, clean and organized, just dont check in late! you get a good nights sleep and a decent shower and the metro is literally a few feet away

Ignore the complaints about this place, its in a good location and the staff are helpful - next to Montmart and right on the metro. Its a cheap place to stay - if you want the Ritz then fork out for the Ritz and stop complaining because you are a cheapskate! The staff was VERY unfriendly, almost rude. There was no security lockers to put your stuff, other than a safe at the front where EVERYONE could put their passports/cards/etc. Dirty, scummy, horrible location..sketchiest part of paris. If I was by myself, i wouldnt have stayed there.

This hostel is ridiculous. One key for every room, the door kept opening during the night, and even when it was shut you could hear everything in the hall. If your desperate, go, but a bench in a park even in January might be a better option...

I'd say you have to be a true backpacker with lots of humor to go to that place. They lost our room key for a day or two, so we entered by the window for that period of time; They came in every morning to take all the beds out - and you have to leave the hotel until afternoon; The area isnt... more I'd say you have to be a true backpacker with lots of humor to go to that place. Its close to Metro station, and quite close to the city center. And for the price, I think, you cant really complain. I would go again, but I understand people who say the wouldnt.close

room 13 shouldn't be used anymore, or at a lower price. other room was okay but also nothing more then the least you can expect. Do not give these people your money. They don't deserve it. Almost everyone that works here is a freak, in the bad way. The rooms are tiny and the whole place smells really strange. Usually I don't listen to the hostelworld's comments because the last time I read that a hostel was horrible, it turned out to be amazing...but the comments left on this particular hostel were right...this hostel was THE worst hostel I have ever been to. Enough said.

I did not like this hostel at all. It was out of the way of the major attractions, and the staff was really rude. We were 10 minutes late for our registration and they gave our room away. My group got split up the first night even though we had booked a private room, and they charged us the same...

if your a teenage girl be prepared for the reception/owner to hit on you everytime you walk in thedoor. also i would not recomend this place for females travelling alone. the area is very dangerous and dodgy. i felt extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. guess you get what you pay for.

9er Zimmer gebucht, 13er "Zimmer" bekommen. War mehr ne Garage als ein Zimmer. Der Raum war mit der Küche durch ein Rolltor getrennt, nach oben und unten offen. Keine Ablagemöglichkeiten, Nasszelle nicht abschließbar und sehr starker Chlorgeruch im Zimmer.

Cheap, but so horrible that it's still not worth the price. DO NOT STAY HERE. Staff are not friendly nor helpful, lockout from 9AM to 3PM, rooms and particularly the beds are disgusting. The light in the bathroom did not turn on, located in bad neighborhood, extremely dirty. Worst hostel I've...

Hostel is good for students!warm in November,beds are exelent with all beddings,hot water!only kitchen is open till 22.00 ->that is not good for them who is coming back to hostel leater as we do=))

They also hired a poor guy to act as a "goalkeeper" to handle all the people getting angre when they checked in. He started the same day.. poor guy. Avoid at all costs until they change owners which might take quite a while...close

The location is good in the city but the area doesn't feels safe when you come home at night! Only one key to each room was really really bad and made it hard to lock the door. It would have been nice if you could close and lock the toiletdoors in the corridor too! Dirty sheets and bad pillows.

Good price, terrible hostel! Dodgy area with lots of sketchy people hanging around out the front. No lockers, one key for the entire room so if someone comes home at 2am u have to jump out of bed to let them in. Heaters on 24/7 very overheated. Lockout is way too early must be out at 9am. Don't...

The location was scary, but it was nice to be so near the Eurostar station (1 stop). I didn't feel safe going out at noon, let alone at night. I would recommend paying a few extra euros to stay in a better location. Also, lights were burnt out, mirrors missing from rooms and locks were broken.

crap. glad i only stayed one night. there is only one key for your whole room! small "common room". location is ok becos you are right across the road from a metro station but the street is pretty dodgy, especially at night.

nice staff and there is in front of a metro station, but also you can go walking to the centre 20 minutes. The only problem is that there are 2 showers for all the rooms and you have to calculate where there will be empty.

The location is handy for Gare du Nord, there are a lot of street sellers outside but were not a big problem. Good to have luggar store and linen included
