Although it´s a short walk into the centre of town, the hostel is in a much better location right on the beach.close

The BEST part about this place is it's location. It's right on a beautiful beach. Other good parts about this hostel are the restauant right inside, the helpfulness of the staff, and cheap Internet. It was quite clean in the rooms, but the bathroom was a bit rustic.

Far from city centre. The bed is not very confortable. The shower is between the sink and wc and there is an electric switch below it so it can be dagerous.

We loved this hostel & wanted to stay longer. If arriving by bus it's best to get a taxi (20R$). Don't plan to cook much as kitchen is inadequate. Would recommend the boat trip.

the hostel ran out of water at 5pm one evening which was a pity because over all the stay was very enjoyable.

the breakfest was amazing!!! the location is ok the walk to the town can be long, but the beach was nice to look at along the way! i think the beds should have ug covers cause i left with a ton of bug bites after only 2 nights. rooms could use more lighting!

Personally I enjoyed the walk but others may find it a little more restrictive. Do take insect repellent as there are no screens on the windows and mozzies are - as you would expect - in abundance. Otherwise, sit back, relax and enjoy the great atmosphere and welcoming vibe!close

The staff here is very helpful and friendly, which is important to me being a solo traveler. It is a bit more expensive, but definitely worth it. They do all the little things that most hostels dont, and have an excellent restaurant. If you love waking up to the site of the beach, stay here!!

After some communicationproblems we only had to pay the half of the taxi. There was no one who told us when breakfast starts and ends, when we have to checkout the next day, or little things like "you're welcome guys". I didn't had a cussion and a towel. For a drink in the bar, we actually had to pay 8 reais for a cover we didn't have. So sorry guys, too many reasons to change the hostel.close

The hostel was great and the staff amazing - but unfortunatley too far from the centre and old town for us. However it is located right on the beach - so if you prefer to be on the beach and don´t mind a 30 min walk to the shops, restaurants, bars etc - then this is a great place.
