Excellent location. Manager is a bit of a character but is very helpful. Dorm room was very spacious - all in all highly recommended.

Friendly, lively and safe environment with a welcoming English host. He knew everything about the local area and really helped us out. Great breakfast and free internet both much appreciated. Slap bang in the centre of the Historic section of Paraty. Really good hostel.

Great location in the centre of Paraty. Clean room, friendly staff and good tours available. The owner has just opened a restaurant, Travellers Tavern, that the staff will recommend to you. It's not great unless you like having fish and chips while you are abroad.

The rooms were very nice and the breakfast was good and varied. The outdoor area was great when it was hot and the owner was very helpful in arranging things for us.

This is a really really lovely hostel in a great location. the owner is very helpful and friendly. great breakfast. would highly recommend it to anyone going to paraty.

THought it was one of the better hostels I have stayed at in south america. Great location, clean, good breakfast, reasonably priced, owner is very helpful (if slightly gruff). Beds a bit hard...buit not too much of a worry.

We ended up staying longer than we intended because we liked it so much here, the owner is lovely and really helpful, the rooms are big and clean, cleaned everyday, location is perfect in the heart of the historical town. I can´t recommend this place enough.

This place was fantastic . I booked 2 nights, but stayed 287 nights. Also, I got to sing as loud as I wanted to.

We really enjoyed our two nights staying here - it was a great location to see the historic center and was lovely and clean - fresh towels every day - we also used the laundrey service which was efficient. Owner is a bit grumpy but didnt bother us.

Booked in for 2 nights, stayed 11. That's probably as good an endorsement as I can give. Rooms can get a little hot, some matresses are a bit thin, but other than that, it's great.

We came, we saw, we drank too much cachaça while solving the world´s problems... Fantastic place, fantastic people. Don´t let the owner scare you, he´s a kitten really. Definitely, definitely recommend staying here.

The hostel is right in the middle of the historic town. I booked the 9 person room, which was not such a good idea. It is very noisy, you hear every word from the livingroom and the big TV underneath, matraces are thin, the beds are very near together and when it is warm outside it becomes an oven. Brteakfast was great and the owner is really helpful. I stayed for two nights and each day there was no water for a couple of hours which is especially bad as all the 9 people of this big room share one small bathroom... The smaller rooms are around the small patio.close

i really enjoyed my short stay at this hostel, i found the hostel to be very clean and safe..even the bed wear smelt clean which you dont find to often in hostels!! thanks to the staff for being so helpful!

Really good hostel! Great atmosphere, loved the bbq and dancing night! Only one thing which is the dorm upstairs is hot, but they say there getting new fans this week, so should be good!
