A wonderfully relaxing place to chill out for a couple of days! The hostel is clean, friendly and inviting. Simon and Helana bend over backwards to ensure you get the most out of your time spent in Paraty. They are not shy with the odd story either!

Great hostelk and cracking breakfasts from Helen. Simon and his wife are incredibly keen to chat and help with plans - even lent us his car on two nights and booked onward bus tickets for us to save the hassle.. We booked for 2 days and ended up staying for 4. It is a good 25 minute walk...

You take 30min walking to the centre but you can rent bikes for only 15R per day, anyway, the view is so great that you won't mind doing it by foot.close

A lovely, relaxing family run hostel in a fantastic location right on the beach and close to town. Amazing breakfasts, excellent very clean rooms and ensuite bathrooms with towels and air conditioning. Really helpful owners with excellent local knowledge.

Very good and helpful owners at the Pousada. A big advantage for us was that they spoke Enslish. Very beautiful location. Relaxing environment. Excellent breakfast.

The place was nice and a short walk from a muddy stretch of beach. My complaints are that it was far from the town, a good 15-20 minute walk. This does make it rather quiet if that appeals to you. Also, the beds are rock hard. Seriously, it was like half an inch of foam over a piece of wood....
