Staff was extremely unhelpful, she made us pay more than we should have, claiming that that was because of booking on hostelworld, so we didnt get our 10% deposit back, meaning we now payed 110%!! The door to our dorm didnt lock and on reporting that to the staff, they just said they'd look into...

It had perfect beachy atmsophere, the swimming pool and sauna were great too although the weather wasn't quite right for it! It was impressively clean and in a perfect location. The only gripe I have was that the lounge/kitchen closed at 11pm and that the internet computers did not always allow access to the internet - out of three times I tried to log on, only one time was successful and the unsuccessful times I was not able to have my money refunded. Good selection of videos as well!close

teh place was nice we were here in winter but summer time would be very nice, one girl at reception was very unpleasent to deal with but apart from that a good place to stay

Nice location and clean rooms. Good lounge! bit gutted they dont have actuall ovens! and the pool looked good! shame it's the winter!

Very central hostel. Not too loud but close by to bars etc. Almost brand new building, very high standard. Kitchen excellent and good pool area too. Would definitly use again.

they should definately hire new staff..the front desk help was no help at all...she was entirely too rude to be dealing with customers....

Although it rained the entire time i was there it was good they had a nice lounge and kitchen and i met a great group of people there.

It was freezing cold and the rooms as well as the bathrooms can only be reached from the outside. Also very little bathrooms. The laundry cannot be used in the mornings either. Pool and spa was very nice though.

However, the kitchen area was very small for the amount of guests staying at the hostel, there were not enough showers or sinks either and despite Lonely Planet stating this place was not a party hostel, I would state otherwise as large groups of guests would often drink late into the night disturbing and causing problems for fellow guests which could have led to more confrontation as there was no 24hr reception to sort the problem out.close

Great place. Better in summer i'd assume, what with swimming pool not being heated. 2 minutes walk from beach and central to most things. Only downside to place is the cold showers.

Good hostel except noisy boardwalk outside and not enough sinks in the toilets. the kitchen could do with a proper clean and some more utensils.

The top bunk beds could do with a shelf next to them so you can put stuff on it like a bottle of water or glasses, alarm clock, etc and be able to access them during the night without climbing down or leaving items on your bed and them rolling off!
