This place was absolutely horrible! It smelled like stale smoke/fish, the rooms were dirty and it was in the most unsafe area that I have ever been in Japan! Do not stay here!

A member of staff who identified himself as MASAMICHI was extremely rude to me. I have never met such a rude Japanese person before in my life and was quiet perplexed as to why he decided to attack me out of the blue like this. Nobody in this hotel speaks any language other than Japanese....

Actually just a budget hotel, not a hostel at all. Rooms were nice and clean, but small (normal size for Japan). There are many cheaper options of similar quality in this neighborhood if you don't need a TV and aircon, just wander around, they all have their prices hanging out front.

Staff were lovely. Area appears dodgy but turned out to be fun. Only problem is the time limitations on bath room especially for women.

The area is definitely not Soho. But it's real close to the station and the price is unbeatable. Definitely worth to stay if you want to see Osaka cheaply. The rooms are small, but clean. You get toothbrush, aircon, tv, video, yukata and towels.

Decent budget option for a night or two in osaka. Curfew is 12.30 though, so if you're planning a late one then that could hamper things.

It is located very close to the JR station and is not far away from Osaka (so, it's useful when one has the Japan Rail Pass). The staff were generally very friendly, except for one particular staff, who had the strange habit of "barking" at non-japanese speaking guests (perhaps it's because we don't speak Japanese). The hotel also has a strange practice of making (loud) intercom announcements at 8.30am, 9.30am and 10.30pm. For non-Japanese speakers, we can only scratch our heads and wonder what the announcements were about - and why we had been so rudely aroused from peaceful sleep. But otherwise, the stay was quite a decent one.close

But I mean I guess they got my money, but I certainly would they got my money, but I certainly would not recommend it to ANYONE, and in fact to stay out of that neighbourhood altogether.
