You guys has the worst staffing during my traveling. The guy was very unfriendly and unhelpful. And around 11:30pm that night, we found that there was a 7th person coming in a 6-bed room. Good for him.

The staff here is really, really friendly.. Thats what I like in small towns hostels. Cosy and friendly hostel. I recommend it.

I had a great stay, quite clean and everyone was very friendly. I was disappointed to learn abut the 12:30 curfew though, would have liked to be able to come back in any time.

very noisy, and the kitchen is so dirty i think a health inspector would have a field day there, it is in no condition to cook food hygienicly

A really fun hostel - definitely a nice place to stay in Oban. The breakfast (not included but relatively cheap) was also pretty good.

Great place to hang yer hat. Wish there was a better way to lock up my valuables (the only way to do so is to give it to reception, who will lock it up for you).

Oban Backpackers had the best, most comfiest beds and largest rooms out of all the hostels i've stayed at so far. very cute and lots of character.

It was a really nice place, the rooms where great. I would recommend bed lamps though and be warned, just because they offer to do your laundry doesn't mean it will get done. I would feel more comfortable washing my own clothes anyway.

Fantastic location,very friendly staff,clean rooms and toilets,breakfast is very cheap at GBP1.90 for toast,cereal,tea,coffee etc,recommended to all!

The staff was really helpful and friendly. Our room was really clean until we had a couple of stinky bunk mates, but the hostel couldn't help that. It was wonderfully located and we enjoyed it a lot. Definitely recommended! Oban Rocks!

Great hostel, very clean and staff really helpful. Unfortunately the long term girl in our room snored like no one i've ever heard which made it impossible to sleep! Everything else was great though.

'Jeremy's' or Oban Backpackers was fantastic. Jeremy helped me find the place on the phone, he talked me all the way there, and I was greeted by lots of tea and toast and a room to myself for ten pounds. I slept like a log in my cosy, quiet room. Fantastic!

Very friendly and helpful welcome. Comfortable sitting area, good company. Town of Oban cheerful and welcoming too. |Only gripe - my bedroom needed a new light bulb.

One of the best backpackers i´ve ever been to. The staff is incredible friendly and helpful. The hostel is very clean and the beds are very comfortable. A backpackers I definitely would recommend to others!!

This place was amazing. Such a cosy atmosphere. Great rooms too - wooden bunk beds and pretty roomy. Would definately highly recommend this to anyone coming to Oban.

A really nice place. Oban isn't the hottest place on earth, but this hostel is absolutely worth a visit. Friendly staff, comfy beds, wonderful common room. Thanks for your time!

lovely hostel! And the staff are really kind. It is the most tidy and cosy hostel I have ever stayed. And I really love the hot and strong shower in the hostel.

First, the warm welcome (coming in from pouring rain) was great. A friendly person who offered free coffee and tea before Id even signed in. Second, a roaring fire - great! Fourth, the smartest showers I have met so far: hooks AND a basket right in the stall, on the dry side of the curtain, to stow your things while you shower. Fifth, friendly, creative signage that made a person-to-person contact, not institutional. Two negatives: others in my room were drying their very smelly wet running shoes on the heater - it made the whole room very unpleasant. Maybe a sign, asking people to dry things other than in the bedrooms? Negative number two: no lift. But on balance, I would definitely stay here again, for the friendly atmosphere. The person on the desk should get an A plus. (She was looking after the hostel the evening of March 13.)close
