The staff was very friendly, and the room was very clean and quiet. The breakfast buffet was above average--it had scrambled eggs and sausage in addition to the standard toast and cereal. The hotel is not very close to the Nuremberg old town, but it is easy to reach with public transportation.

This hostel is in Furth, a little town to the West of Nuremburg, we were slightly misconcieved by directions, believing they were from the Nuremburg Haptbahnof. Room was extremely smokey. Steep Pricing for Wifi that has poor range. Supermarket across the road.

Friendly staff, clean rooms and relaxed atmopsherel. However a fair way from Nuremberg town centre - transport links to the U-Bahn are not bad but a trip into the city centre takes around 45 mins via public transport.

Hotel is ok, its just a bit far out of Nuremberg which is reached by getting bus to Furth station and then a U-bahn to Nuremberg. Staff are helpful though.

Very nice stay and the staff were very helpful at helping us to get into the city by public transport. It would be helpful if they had maps of the Nuremberg available.

A couple of issues with my stay. First, I booked a room with a double bed, but was given a room with two singles. Both of the mattresses were beyond their useful life in my opinion. Second, the room was an ice box. When I arrived the window was open and the heat off. Outside temperature was 0 C. So, even with the heat turned on, it took until morning for the room to warm up. Third, the wireless internet network was not stable and cut out every 5 minutes. The staff was very friendly and professional and they probably would have accommodated me on these issues, but I was dead tired did not have the energy to complain. My private room was very clean. The continental breakfast was good. So, overall not the greatest business trip experience, but I think for the casual traveler, Hotel Green Place could be a good choice.close
