1The hostel is pretty much a hotel. It was very secure and in a quiet neighbor hood. It was located in an expat part of town though and to walk to the old town took about 15 minutes, but that was not a big deal. Hotel Mozart Garni 84%
Very helpful and pleasant owner, breakfast included and despite booking a shared bathroom had one to ourselves! Really close to station and old town too...great value.

Hotel St. Peter 70%
Not too far from the train station but easy enough to reach by tram or taxi, comfortable and clean room also near shops and food outlets.Some staff did not speak English.
