The apartment was double booked for my stay. As a result, I was forced to stay in a 16 bed dorm room, rather than an apartment. The toilets ran out of tp, the key cards didn't always work in the doors and the hostel did not seem very clean. The staff was very friendly, so perhaps the mishaps... more The apartment was double booked for my stay. As a result, I was forced to stay in a 16 bed dorm room, rather than an apartment. The toilets ran out of tp, the key cards didn't always work in the doors and the hostel did not seem very clean. The staff was very friendly, so perhaps the mishaps were at the level of the management . When booking again, I'd be sure re-confirm my reservation because I know that I was not the only guest that had been bumped that night.close

This was a really nice hotel, the heated floors in the bathroom were a really touch! The only problem is its right in the heart of the city- so theres a bit of road noise. And from the directions, I thought it was opposite the train station- which it isn't, it wasn't a problem, just a bit...

Good restaurant, close to train station and guy at reception spoke great english and was friendly (and quirky?). The room was modern with small but clean and modern bathroom. The downside was that the room was FREEZING!

Very good hostel, very beatiful (the "garden" autside is fantastic) only two remarqs there are only four showers for all the hostel and it is a little bit noisy.

had english hooligans in the hostel, they were all drunk and loud. they went in other rooms during the night. then they all had sex with a bitch and everyone could hear it, because they are no real walls....horrible night!!! and the stuff was nowhere.....

What about paying HOSTEL guests? Everything here seemed too hard. We were pleased to leave.close

i think it is a restaurant/cafe owner who had spare space so installed showers and beds. thats exactly what it is.... a nice comfy bed and nothing more. but thats all i wanted... so it was perfect for me.

We stayed on 16jun-18jun 3-person We left 1-bag in a hotel dining room at 09:00am on 18jun taking taxi onboard Bag color is black into cardigan,glass, cosmetics and etc. said bag is belongs to Mrs.Nakamura Please check and advice if held your or not above the bag. Best Regard thanks

The location is excellent, the hostel is modern and cosy. The cleanliness only falls down because of the kitchen, otherwise all rooms etc were of a good clean standard. Great little self contained apartments within walking distance to everything. Warm, comfortable beds with good pillows, cable tv, good bathroom. Free internet downstairs and friendly staff.

this is a good place for sleeping! sheets are included and there are secure boxes in the room. The bar is open 'till 1 am, if I remember well, and there is a free internet access. the only problem: my shower was cold!

Fantasic!!!!! Most fun ive had in Norway.. gerat group of people staying here.. free internet..2 min walk from station..great facilities..t hough the kitchen could do with cultery and plates.. but it has a mic and fridge! totally recommend it.

Would like to have seen larger storage lockers - i.e. for rucksacks Occassionally, toilets were not refilled with toliet tissue/ soap as they ran out. All in all though, a very enjoyable stay

I stayed overnight at this hostel. Very nice, good pillows and quilts for the beds, and clean nice sheets, and good matresses. I didn't hangout in hte hostel but the people were nice and the free internet was good.

This hostel is in a great location, just like they advertise. The lounge/bar is a really nice place to meet people, and have a late night drink. I highly recomend this hostel, and you won't find a better one in Norway.

The owner had double booked so I was unable to stay there (the owner admitted he was not up to date with his Hostel World bookings). While he did make efforts to find me alternate accommodation, what he found did not offer the same facilities. While he did make efforts to find me alternate accommodation, what he found did not offer the same facilities. I ended up spending 4 hours trying to find my own accommodation, which I eventually did but at nearly double the price (there was a concert in town and everything was fully booked). Although the owner did refund my deposit, I booked in advance so that I would not have to worry about accommodation and to ensure that I had the private kitchen/TV facilities I wanted. I understand that double bookings happen and I went willingly to the alternate accommodation he had arranged but as it was not to the same standard (the room hadn't even been cleaned), the professional thing to do would have been to pay the difference for the accommodation I found.close

I booked this hostel becos it was the closest to the train station and I didnt want to spend the entire nite finding the place. It turned out to be a very cosy place. The dorm especially took me by surprise. Very clean and neat. The showers and WC are decent too.
