Way less lockers than beds, not in the room and very small. Reception, if you can call it that,is in Jacobs bar next door which is not a hostel bar. Very cold in the small common room, never saw anyone without a jacket on. No internet or wireless network. The 14-bed room I stayed in was crowded to the point of being non-functional, forget about comfortable - there wasn't enough room for everyone sleeping there to even stand, much less anywhere for their bags. Only 16 tiny lockers and four showers for 40 or so people? Ugh. If I had had any other choice in Bergen, I would have taken it, but everything else was full.close

Could use a real common room, instead of just a kitchen/ dining room, which makes it hard to hang out.

Only a few, very small lockers are available on a 1st come 1st served basis and they are not located in the rooms. Dorms are too crowded - not enough space to put luggage on the floor. Not enough restrooms and showers for the amount of people staying in the dorms. Rooms are not well ventilated...

A small mix-up with the room, and it seems odd to have the kitchenettes right next to where people are trying to sleep, but otherwise clean and tidy.

Nice hostel, quiet and cheap...the bathorooms are a little bit small, but clean. I was in the 16 beds room with my boyfriend, there were guys but also middle aged people so probably it was so quiet for this reason too! there was also a kitchen with all the necessary to cook by your own. enjoy it!

the pros, its very near the train station, funicular, and fish market, and the staff are helpful and friendly. the cons, the room was really tight and cramped and smelled really bad as did the bathrooms, and the computer is broken so there is no internet. good for 1 night.

This was the worst Idea i've seen yet. Guess what... at 6pm when 20 people want beers from the bartender, you've got to wait in line just like all of them before you can check in. Also the security on the door to our room was broken so a sign told us to leave it open. Great idea.close

This place is good if you want a clean spot close to the train station. The dorms are pretty cramped, but livable. It is only a few minutes from the hostel down to the harbor which is nice also. I would stay here again and Bergen is lovely!

The location was very good, but the rooms were small and with no ventilation for the number of people that slept in them. Not enough showers and not very clean either. Kitchen was OK but dirty at night too. Only recommend it for a stay of one or two nights, not longer

Stayed in a small dorm not in the main building, but was pretty sweet location, and had a nice kitchen and lounge to split between the 12 or so beds. Only problem is you are a little reliant on the other people to close the front door properly, which didn't happen 1 day I was there.

The hostle is ok... but the staff don't stay in there, you have to go to the bar to call them... and, by the way, don't eat at the bar, 'cause it's veeeeery expensive... but the location is great... close to the train station and to the fish market...

This hostel is listed as the cheapest hostel in Bergen but you will be making up the difference in paying for the things they DON'T have. Like luggage storage for the last day, linen not included and obligatory to purchase (not a deposit) I would stay somewhere else where you know what the price...
