The first time we ate there, we tried the most known dishes like Lamb Madras and Chicken Korma. We were delighted to taste these dishes (without forgetting the cheese nan and masala kulcha). This family operated restaurant have its own charm, once inside, you get a ward welcome, the decor and music as if you were in a street of Old-Delhi. The waiters shall make you feel so relax as if you were at home. It was so surprisingly pleasant and unbelievable that we decided to return to see whether it is all the time same tasty food. This time we tasted THALI (25 euros) having seven dishes in small bowls with rice, tandoori chicken and nan bread (of your choise). It is a real delice to eat all this representation of their family kitchen. One advice don't eat lunch and take a thali straight 19 hours. Otherwise, one can't finish it all, and need not take a starter as well. The wine collection is well priced specially Chateau Rasque (red and rose) and Sencerre (white). The list of the qualities is exaustive, I shall leave the remaining ones for you.close

We saw all those Awards on their front door and decided to give it a try (especially since there were many locals who were eating there as well). The seating area used to be a Horse Stable in its previous life, and you can still see some of the hooks and water tubs. The restaurant is decorated with a lot of Indian pieces of various kinds, and has a very unique atmosphere - one we had not seen in any other Indian restaurant in our travels so far. The host and hostess (I think they also own this place) were very courteous and attentive. The food was very aromatic and was spiced just right for our taste buds. We were there till way past closing time but the service continued with a smile - very different from a mostly indifferent attitude that you get from the wait staff at most restaurants in France. Unfortunately, they are open only for dinner (7:00pm to 11:30pm daily). We will definitely eat here again on our next visit to the riviera.close
